Jack repeatedly calling Goldberg a bitch should not make me laugh as much as it does.

I enjoyed this bit after Tenay pushed Wrath being a big player in Hollywood.
Jack:Wrath was on Mortal Kombat the tv series. JP:Yes he was.Do you know who he played? Jack:No who? JP:Burly Citizen. Jack:I’m not familiar what was his fatality?

Lee Marshall’s triumphant return was GLORIOUS.
Next show is Royal Rumble 1990.

My name may or may not have been mentioned on last week's episode. No one else gives a shit, but I just thought it was pretty cool and smiled like a total asshole when I heard it. I listen to a podcast called Icopod that deals mainly with mid 90s Raw. I’ve had my username and real name mentioned on there, and I too had the same smile you had.

The Andre impression made me feel sad. But it was also funny as hell. I'm listening to it right now and am dying!

I love when they go back and find the major local newspapers coverage at the time and it buries wrestling for being fake. Also loved the reporter who went to rumble 90 to interview people that don’t want to be there and ask them if they think its fake.

It was surreal to hear JP singing the Grandstand theme during part one of the World War 3 episode. I bet 99% of the listeners were thoroughly bemused by it, but that made it even more glorious to me!

The best part about the WW3 episode was the listing of the Battle Royale participants and the discussions on their salaries. The discussion about all the wrestlers living in the same subdivision in suburban Atlanta was really funny.

Highlights from their Rumble live call last night were them looking up the women like Dana Brooke & Kelly Kelly’s theme song lyrics and singing them. Jack saying MVP stole Lee Marshall’s theme song. Them realizing the 90 rumble sucked because it didn’t have CGI graphics & 80 million camera cuts. JP being a responsible father using child friendly verbiage watching with his young daughter while Jack dispenses filth. JP’s dad doing a run-in.

Lapsed Vince: Get Basil DeVito out there to find a reporter and say 'Hey, hey, hey, you want a quote, pal?' Jack: Yeah Fat Albert I do *JP corpses* Lapsed Vince: Find a reporter and say: 'Hey, hey hey....' *JP corpses again, say "I can't believe I did that again"
This is why the show is best when it's doing what it does best. Hilarious moment.

Is that Grandstand as in BBC Sport Grandstand? I dread to think what the context was if so - he’d have had a field day talking about Frank Bough. If it was a different Grandstand then please disregard this!

Is that Grandstand as in BBC Sport Grandstand? Yeah, I believe they were talking about Kendo Nagasaki and World of Sport the previous week and a listener recalled watching wrestling on BBC's Grandstand. And JP got a jukebox request to sing the theme to the show. No Lapsed Des Lynam or David Coleman impressions unfortunately!

Considering he was the ‘housewife’s favourite’, I can just see him being a raging sex addict who loves his moustache!

Its so odd to hear him like that with how he is on TLF I was waiting for him to shill some dick pills, razor’s to shave ones balls or call Edge a bitch.Instead he’s some kind of legitimate news man.
