Tana should be given a lot of love for how much he kept up in the main event
Shows that he can still go at an insane pace when healthy and I will enjoy this reign as long as it will last

He was there before but after WK? There’s absolutely no good reason to not include him with them.

He was there before but after WK? There’s absolutely no good reason to not include him with them. He's no doubt on the list of the greatest of all time. He took them out the dark and helped raise them to the point of seeing gains which now allows Okada and his crew to take the brand to new heights while Tana still gets to enjoy the ride
Their can be a thousand Aces but he will be known as The Ace. This is one of those times where I wish WWE and NJPW had a working relationship in regards to talent because it would be so crazy to see Tana for a one off match at a Mania against someone like John Cena
His body is no doubt breaking down but I didn't think he would reach these heights again especially after the way 2018 started for him but he got healthy and shown that when healthy he still deserves to not be written off as a top guy yet and while this reign may only last a few months, i'm sure he will cherish it and it will be overall treat to see him back in his element and in the main event

Man I just...really don't like Kenny Omega. I fast forward through his stuff on BTE, and the overall cut of his jib just rubs me the wrong way.

Every Wrestle Kingdom I see all the positive vibes and tell myself I need to get into NJPW. I like REALLY should this time these main events sound amazing. Freaking Kenny Omega coming out to Undertale I love it hahaha

If Jericho is the next challenger I really don't mind, he's shown he can still go with his matches with Kenny and Naito and the fans seem to like him as he's drawing tickets

Yeah, after that match, I'd be down for seeing him face Okada, Tanahashi, or both. Also would be kinda fun seeing him face some of the other roster members. For some reason, I feel like him versus Ishii would be a lot of fun. That happen before? Every Wrestle Kingdom I see all the positive vibes and tell myself I need to get into NJPW. I like REALLY should this time these main events sound amazing. Freaking Kenny Omega coming out to Undertale I love it hahaha I'd recommend it. Now is a solid time. I was cool on them for years, for a couple of reasons, but in the last 2 years or so, I feel like there's been a lot to see and get excited about.

Watching parts while I'm finishing up in the projection booth. Naito/Jericho was fantastic and I'm really digging Tana/Omega. I'll give Okada/White a view later but man I'm just not a Jay White guy.

I normally am not very impressed with him, but if any night will make you a believer, it'd be this match. I don't think he should be a world champ yet, but he went from a pesky wiener to me to a guy who was worth paying attention to. Gedo's got a pretty solid eye for potential.

I know this is obviously a heavily reduced crew compared to what a WWE PPV would get as far as live thread people, but I just want so badly to show this thread as a whole to people when they say this place is just people looking to be upset and negative all the time about everything. Positivity throughout about the show, praising it, getting into the matches and letting them happen, nobody posting any super weird hot takes that make everyone stop for a sec and go "Um what, dude?" and even when there's jokes happening like the mini Kushida stuff it's not because the show has lost people it's because everyone is feeling good. Just goes to show that when a show is great it's really something special. It’s the WWE section that is the most downer. Impact has gotten that way as well when it was fun to just make fun of the show but people take it overboard Nothing but positive vibes today from the show and the 5 hours I’ve spent watching wrestling in a long time There's no denying the tone of WWE Current, but I think so much of it is informed by the current product and what it is. I think if WWE was putting on PPVs like last night there'd be a lot more positivity over there. Hell, during good shows like Evolution or HIAC the positivity is there and really refreshing. If more shows could be like WK I think Current would follow suit, and the number of Current regulars make up so much of this thread's activity to begin with.

Just got done watching. Best show I've seen since All In, and better that that from an in-ring standpoint if not from a spectacle standpoint. Even the worst match on here (Cody/Juice most likely) was alright, and the rest was varying degrees of great. Probably been said a million times but Ibushi/Ospreay and Tanahashi/Omega were both utterly brilliant.
I don't agree with everything that went down - I'm bummed Omega lost and think Jay White looks too much like a 15-year-old to take seriously - but goddamn, it's nice to feel good after watching a wrestling PPV, you know? I'd forgotten what that was like.

Tanahashi vs Omega was an absolute masterpiece. The storytelling was perfect. The rest of the show was very good, although I missed Naito vs Jericho, so I have to go back and watch it but I am just too tired right now. Juice vs Cody was the only disappointing match, but knowing that Cody is gone and Juice is champion really helps that out.

Kind of trying to decide if I want to watch New Year's Dash or not. Like, I'd like to but not sure I'm really in the mood right now.

Kind of trying to decide if I want to watch New Year's Dash or not. Like, I'd like to but not sure I'm really in the mood right now. I'm not staying up for it, but it's usually a good show with storyline progression and there is often a debut. I will probably watch it later on in the day when I get a chance.
