Ibushi vs Goto has officially been set I did like Goto using reverse psychology on Ibushi to get him to agree to the match.

My predictions for the rest of the card
Annual NEVER Trios gauntlet match
ROH World Title Jay Lethal vs Chris Sabin
IWGP US Championship Cody (If healthy) vs Juice Robinson
IWGP Tag Guerillas of Destiny vs Evil and Sanada vs The Young Bucks I really hope the Young Bucks don't get thrown into the tag match. It's not fair to everyone that actually worked the World Tag League. Agreed, though there's one condition where I'd be ok with it: as part of a full Elite heel turn. You've already got Kenny's story where he's openly antagonistic toward the beloved Ace, but also where he seems to be taking Ibushi's love for granted; regardless of the outcome of the WK main event he may well end up snapping over one of those issues. Having his little buddies, who've been making a nice worked shoot out of "NJPW's no fun/doesn't pay enough anymore!", weasel their way into a tag title match they didn't earn (which, granted, Ishii and Yano did a couple years ago, I guess) plays into the Elite believing they're entitled to everything.

So if Ibushi wins and we get Ibushi/Ospreay at WK. What was the point of having Taichi win and then lose the title in quick succession?

A full Elite heel turn would be strange considering they were kicked out of the Bullet Club because they wanted to cater to the fans. Although I think they are headed that way with the storylines. The Elite do seem entitled, especially with the worked shoot "will they, won't they leave" angle. Ibushi is already an important part of Kenny/Tanahashi's story. I have a feeling regardless of the Wrestle Kingdom result, somehow Ibushi and Kenny will have a falling out. I see Kenny fully attacking Tanahashi's injuries in this match and Ibushi possibly feeling sympathetic as Kenny begins to go "too far" in the match. At the same time, perhaps Ibushi finally realizes that Tanahashi has been right all along about Kenny holding him back. As we saw with Goto "tricking" Ibushi into a title match, it seems to take Ibushi a little longer to figure things out. Kenny has already proven to be a very selfish champion in defending against his friends and Ishii being the only outlier. Also him not working tours is showing that he doesn't care about the company. Someone made a good point, maybe it was you, about how Kenny is an anti-villain. He behaves like a face but is completely self-centered and truly a heel. It is also an interesting point about the Bullet Club, he wasn't just exiled because he wouldn't cheat and catered to the fans, but also because as leader he was purely self serving. Even though the Bullet Club is a pure heel faction again, they have an all for one and one for all mentality that shows they all work together for the bigger picture, something Kenny wasn't doing. He expected Bullet Club to completely cater to his needs.

Given Taichi's shtick is that really something that would make sense in the G1? Yoshi-Hashi is kind of a jobber but at least he can go out and give you 12 decent minutes.
