Okay, the charity thing does certainly make this quite a bit more palatable.
That said though... I'm a lot more inclined to just donate the money directly and not bother with watching the same movie watered down.

I figured this release would mean there were extra scenes in the movie, which turns out is the case. Plus these Fred Savage segments. That charity thing really is a kick in my ass to want to go see it now.

I was gonna see this out of curiosity. The charity thing just solidified it.

Okay, say what you will about this as a whole, but that dig at Fox at the end made me laugh hard.

Had no interest in this. Then that trailer made me realize how stupid I am.

It’s been given a 15 rating in the UK. The same rating Deadpool 2 got.

If anyone's in Minnesota, I'm hosting the MN premiere of it Tuesday!

So I just got back from this. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for it the last few days, and it is really weird to try to avoid spoilers for a movie that I've technically already seen.
So for the positives, everything with Deadpool and Fred Savage was absolutely hilarious and worth it alone. There's also a sweet tribute to Stan Lee at the end.
As for the negatives, a lot of the alternate dialogue is pretty obviously dubbed in and doesn't always work too well. It's kinda funny in a random, nonsensical kind of way, but not in a "ha-ha funny" kind of way.
There are also noticeable edits in the movie. Nothing that effects the plot or anything, but just enough so you can tell something is missing. Most notable is Domino's part in the final fight scene which is almost completely gone.
So all-in-all, if you've seen Deadpool 2, then there's no need to jump through hoops to see this. But if you have two hours to kill, this is a pretty good way to do it.

I get the feeling that this version will be the one that Disney puts on the streaming service.

I get the feeling that this version will be the one that Disney puts on the streaming service. No, Disney is fine with continuing an M rated Deadpool, and they’re not going to potentially alienate their audience by putting an inferior version on their streaming service. Especially when the whole point of this cut is so that the movie can make gobs of money in China

Especially when the whole point of this cut is so that the movie can make gobs of money in China Disney have confirmed no R-rated content will feature on Disney+. So yes, while Disney will continue to make Deadpool movies without compromising on the blood, violence, and language, they'll likely license those movies out to Netflix and Amazon instead, or put them exclusively on Hulu.

I'm gonna take my oldest son to see this tomorrow because he's wanted to see Deadpool but society looks down on a parent taking an eight year old to an R-Rated movie

Unless you're taking kids or didn't see it the first go round, I can't imagine paying to see it again now that I bought it on blu ray some time back. Not knockin y'all that are/did, just not my bag. Maybe if some significant time had passed, but it's been like six months at the most. I'll just catch the Fred Savage stuff on Youtube
