I'm glad U of L has tanked of late so as to not be a 5 seed and be upset by the 12 Murray St. Because you know these scum on the committee would set it up.

When in doubt go with Kansas to choke, especially when they might be a 5 seed. In fact with the talk of various dark horse mid majors there isn't much talk of the potential jobber high seed teams. Wisconsin is usually pretty solid in the tourney so I wouldn't necessarily pick them to be upset (though WKU took them out earlier this year!). Virginia Tech seems like a dark horse upset pick. The Hokies do nothing for me. Bruce Pearl has and up and down tourney history so I'd probably go with Auburn to be a 5/12 style upset. My big first or second round upset will be LSU though. I have no earthly idea how that team won the SEC reg. season title. They're the luckiest team in basketball, winning 5 OT games. Overachieved Pythagorean expectations by 4 games, which to put in perspective would be like an NBA team winning about 10 games more than projected. Add to it Will Wade's suspension due to the FBI probe and LSU will be toast in short order.

Welp, Gonzaga probably cost itself a #1.

Nah, I think the Zags had the #1 in the West locked down regardless of that game. St. Mary's is actually #34 in the NET rankings, so it wasn't a terrible loss. That said, if Gonzaga ran into Virginia I think they would be in trouble given that St. Mary's slowed them down considerably. The #1 seeds will likely be Gonzaga, Virginia, whoever wins the ACC tourney, and possibly UK if they win the SEC tourney. Or maybe Tennessee if they win.

Zion is back and he's immediately the most dominant player in college basketball again.

WVU pulls out another shocking upset, I'm predicting Kansas will be twisting the wicked witch of the West Virginia Mountaineers out of the tournament (and MOST LIKELY OUT OF ANY TOURNAMENT CONTENTION) in less then 24 hours

You know, I hadn't really considered TX Tech as one of my potential early round upset picks, especially since they had a good Elite 8 run last year (that wasn't fluky). But losing to a crappy 13-19 WVU team? Yikes. I wouldn't mind U of L being a 6 in their bracket as the 3.
How bizarre is Texas? I've never seen a resume like this. 16-16 record after last night, yet a top 30 team in Pomeroy's rankings. #38 in the NET as well for whatever that is worth.

The officiating crew decided the LSU/Florida game.
A terrible call compounded by Doug Shows' crew getting their feelings hurt when the LSU coach dared to tell them exactly that. In a game that close and that big, the refs decided to make it about themselves.
Pathetic.

ESPN is going to be insufferable after that Zion performance.
They won't know what to do with themselves after he leaves College Basketball.

The notion that LSU will get zero calls is not lost on me. Given their current situation with the FBI, Will Wade, etc. there's no way in hell the NCAA is going to allow them to get to the 2nd week of the tourney. Ditto Kansas. I'd be shocked if either team is in the Sweet 16. Incidentally isn't it nice of the top 2 teams in the Big 12 to not even bother showing up for this tourney so it can become the usual Kansas Invitational?
Oh and as for that UNC/Duke finish why on earth didn't Carolina just drive to the basket on either of those last 2 possessions? Why take bizarre, off balance 3s both times?

Duke’s coverage on that final possession was solid and nobody had a clean look, but you’re right - just drive there. That was your best option.

Thanks for playing WVU, you pulled off two incredible upsets but once again Kansas proves that there are 3 guarantees in life: Death, Taxes and Kansas beating WVU

The whole point of an uptempo team not taking a timeout there, which was probably the wrong call which Roy will never learn, is that they can rush and catch the defense not set. Instead White was slow coming up the court and tried to run a screen. If you're just gonna run a set play, take the timeout. Poor play by both Roy and White, who had been phenomenal.

There are rumors that Bill Self is leaving KU for the Bulls after this season.
NCAA investigators at KU this week, issues with prior recruits, and KU was named in that FBI investigation? If Self does leave, begin the countdown till KU gets hit with sanctions.

Oh, Kansas is so one and done next week it's not even funny. Self wants to get out of town in a hurry. Regarding Duke, I have to ask a serious question: Can a team that shoots only 30.5% from 3 actually win the title? What's the worst % someone has shot from 3 to win it all?
