Also, not that Punk proclaiming himself the leader of the locker room wasn't stupid, but Booker would have been what, 45 years old when he dropped trash on the floor to prove a point? I'm glad I'm just a fan and not working in this business. I mean this is the same man who went to TNA to play video games

Add this story to the contrast of Aleistar Black talking about Roman and Roman told him stop cleaning up the locker room, he belongs here and he wants him to be comfortable Man the lockeroom getting further and further from the old carny ways sure sounds like it makes for a much more enjoyable experience. In my VERY limited experience with being in a locker room, there is definitely a pecking order, but everyone is friendly, and any kind of ribbing is fairly well meaning. One of the reasons I'm extremely happy that Adam Pearce is there in a backstage role, as he is one of the most genuinely good people I ever met in the business. Every month he would show up and make a point to say hi and thank you to the ring crew(myself included) before anyone else. He even let me hold Old Charlotte for a few seconds.

Roman > Punk Yeah I'll keep on saying it. YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Yeah, with Roman getting sick a lot of stories that you never would have heard came out and you see why it wasn't just corporate BS of the wrestlers saying Roman is a leader back there Which still kind of puts it in major perspective of he got so pissed at Enzo and kicked him off the bus
It makes you really wonder what Enzo said to piss off Reigns that much. Man.

Yep sounds like Punk. I wonder who picked up their trash lmao. Add this story to the contrast of Aleistar Black talking about Roman and Roman told him stop cleaning up the locker room, he belongs here and he wants him to be comfortable Man, now I really miss this guy. His Superman booking may have annoyed me to no end, but stories like this show why he was so highly-regarded.

I love how even that turned into an opportunity for the guys to talk about how much everyone likes and respects Kane.

Wasn't it Taker that told Miz to come back to the locker room? The more I read about Punk, the less I like him. You don't get to go around telling people you're the locker room leader especially when there are guys in there who have more shower time than you have f***ing road time. Yup, but it was after Benoit was dead. And I remember someone posted the context, it went something along the lines of: Undertaker: "Why you still changing in the hallway?" Miz: "I wanted to honor Benoit's request" Undertaker: "HE'S DEAD!" I wonder if Benoit would back down to Undertaker during that time, since they were team Smackdown on and off during the 2002 to 2007 run. He absolutely would have. Taker had seniority and that's big in the old guard locker room mentality.

It's a widely known fact that pro wrestlers LOVE littering.

It's a weird thing to imagine how the talent felt over the years with the new perspective on things relating to Reigns. Like, they see this hard-working guy that everyone backstage seems to like and respect, arguably the least problematic top guy backstage they've had since before the Hogan era, just COP IT for years from the fans for... basically for winning wrestling matches they wanted someone else to win, some bad jokes and not doing lots of fancy moves. And any attempt to go on the record to stand up for him just got dismissed as them toeing the company line and ignoring the will of the fans. It must have been bloody frustrating.

Who knew Kane's major platform was being anti-littering

Doesn't there have to be an element of being generally well-liked, or at least respected, to be a locker room leader? The more time goes by, the more delusional Punk seems.

I've always detested Punk and thought he was completely overrated, a massive douche, and a huge mark for himself.
More and more stories come out proving me right.
I would LOVE a DVD set called "The Self-Addiction of CM Punk"
the back of the set would be a pic of all the bottles of Ambien he went through.

I thought Punk and Jericho got along well until after Punk left, but it seems they didn't like each other that much. Maybe that's why their angle wasn't that hot after all - not liking each other enough for trust and not hating each other enough for realism.
The more I hear about Punk, the less I like him.

Punk sounds like Dwight from the Office in this situation,
Maybe Vince give hin a fake job title to appease him

Punk has always seemed like such a prickly entitled ass IRL. It's a big reason why I never was a huge fan of his even when everyone was acting like he was the best thing since sliced bread, taking up for him any time he was being a whiner about everything, and acting like he could no wrong back in 2011-14. Like is there seriously any positive stories about him outside the ring from either fans or other wrestlers? It's no wonder he has so little friends in the business.

Not immediately dismissing this as untrue, but Jericho has to be taken with a pinch of salt nowadays. Can see this being mildly exaggerated knowing that Punk doesn't care enough to defend his side of this.

Lol, this thread. Booker throws garbage on the ground like a punk, and (ironically enough) Punk is the guy everyone's up in arms about cause he's got an ego, or whatever.
