WOH in the early days was pretty much a vehicle for Klein and Delirious' girlfriend Mandy Leon. They even had a match during the title tournament. It was absolutely rotten. I still say Sumie was inaugural champ because ROH would've gotten so much shit if Klein had won the tournament. It's surprising they waited this long to try to get away with it. Were Klein and Mandy at least over enough that them being the stars made sense? This might be just my own fandom clouding my memory, but I remember Taeler Hendrix being better than either of them (a more credible heel than Klein and a better wrestler than Mandy) and she was clearly pushed to the side in favor of the girlfriends. Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they weren't. Leon was mostly phased out after the tournament (don't think she's had a televised match since, just some commentary and commercial bits) and Klein was toned down a lot, something I'm sure will be getting reversed now that she's champ. |

Caprice has a wonderful delivery. Unfortunately, his commentary is one massive run-on that makes no sense.
