The updated WWE Network works better than this. Constant buffering. It's the first day of the most anticipated streaming site we've ever seen. Of course there's going to be buffering issues and connectivity problems.

So...how bad is the Dumbo cut? From what I've seen around Twitter, they haven't changed anything and put a disclaimer in the description about "outdated cultural depictions". They also haven't changed other movies like The Aristocats.

The fact that it's a mega corporation like Disney makes it less excusable to me, not more. It's actually gotten worse, too. A little earlier today, I was at least able to make it to playing a video. Now, when I click on a show or movie, nothing happens.

Monopolies are bad. That goes without saying. And I realize I’m officially a part of the problem, but of course I got Disney+, and going through it, I’m just getting this feeling of giddiness trying to figure out what to watch first when I get home from work. What seems to be the biggest double-edged sword from all of this is that Disney's acquisition of Fox basically set off a bunch of companies to either consolidate (CBS/Viacom), form a more united front (AT&T Time Warner basically encouraging more work between all companies, which was probably what lead to TNT working with DC on the AEW stuff) or just mergers to make Disney trying to buy them way more expensive (Hasbro/EOne). Like, the one hand, this is basically all hands on deck to not let Disney have run of entertainment, on the other hand this only benefits the few companies that have big presences in media as is. Like, it isn't going to suddenly open a gap for newer companies to come in as much as duke heads with Disney, Universal, Warner Bros and EOne. Going slightly off-topic from the wider discussion but basically, the next few years are going to be...something.

House of Mouse and Kingdom Heart kind of demonstrated that a decade ago

Haven't had any issues on my end really. Only problem for me has been that the menus take a little extra time to load but usually once I get a program running, it runs fine.

I mean, WWE Network had buffering issues for weeks after launching and had maybe one million subscribers to contend with. Disney+ is gonna have... a lot more. Nothing is perfect day one.

I do wonder if anyone notices any changes in anything though...thinks of the Edits thread we have on the Network page.

Might wait a bit before subscribing to this. Hopefully gift cards will be available since I tend to find that an easier route for me.

So, another show with missing episodes, Andi Mack's episode list doesn't have any episodes involving Stoney Westmoreland, the actor who played the grandfather. This is due to him being fired for pedophilia and trying to plan a liaison with a thirteen year old boy.

The original Dumbo is intact with the crows. Disney added a disclaimer in the beginning.

I don't know why, but WWE Network always worked well for me. On launch day in 2014 and for the next few weeks, I had less buffering issues than others did, and the update a few months ago went fine. Disney+, on the other hand, is flat out not functioning beyond letting me log in or out.

I'm actually impressed in the clarity of the audio and video so far. I threw on Winnie the Pooh as the first video I tested (the baby is fighting a real bad infection at the moment), and I swear I was hearing parts in the opening song I hadn't actually heard back when it was running nonstop on VHS.
It's been a rocky start to say the least (the app is constantly crashing and the site is dog slow), but I'm confident they'll work those kinks out after the excitement of launch day. I'm impressed of the non-animated Disney properties listed on the service so far, and look forward to seeing where else they go with their setup.

Classic Mickey style shorts. On there anywhere? Absolutely, there's an entire section called "Mickey Mouse Through the Years" that has a fair number of them right off the bat.
