The "Christmas on Death Row" album is a lot more Christmas-oriented than one would think. These two songs have no profanity on them at all.
Also, I liked this version of "Silent Night."
I'll post more from this album later.

I'm going to list them, since I can listen to some, all year Whitney Houston- Do You Hear What I Hear? Pretty much all of Mariah Carey's first Christmas album Do They Know It's Christmas Time. Nothing gets you into the spirit, like the lyric "well, tonight thank God it's them, insteeeeaaaaad of you!"

Here's Darlene Love singing "Christmas(Baby, Please Come Home)" for the first time on Letterman in 1986
And for the final time in 2014.
The song is often held up as THE example of the "Wall of Sound"-style of production and Letterman's annual request for Darlene Love to perform it helped one of the more underappreciated singers in American pop music history get the recognition she deserved. Love still performs the song live, but has vowed never to perform it on television again after Letterman retired.

When I was a kid, my parents had a self-made cassette tape of Christmas songs. Most of them were your holiday classics that you hear on every radio station, but there were two songs that definitely weren’t. For the longest time I had no idea what the song titles were or who sang them, even though I could hear the singers in my head and remembered most of the lyrics. My search finally ended several years ago thanks to Google and YouTube; these were the songs that had eluded me for so long:
Finally, I have to include this one. Written and produced by Steven Van Zandt, and featuring members of the E Street Band and the Asbury Jukes.

No. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. Shame on all of you. To be fair, someone had started a thread related to Halloween in September. I addressed that in the OP.
