Think about this carefully, with Triple H's injury in mind.
Does WWE make it up to Batista by giving his win back against Bryan?

If Bryan holds it to WM I see his opponent being Miz, but I fear it being Shane.

If you asked me this yesterday, I would have said Shinsuke or Miz.
Then they ruined everything and turned him heel. I haven’t got a clue at this point. Knowing this company, it’ll be f***ing Shane.

I feel like they're going all in on face Miz. They've been making him less douchey of late and this whole Bryan thing was pretty heavily foreshadowed with how Miz was saying when backed into a corner Bryan would start cheating.

Ugh...
Miz face failed in 2012-2013. What makes them think this will work? The return of Damien Sandow?

Too early to tell. If Bryan is a heel, anyone but Miz because Miz has never been even an ok face.

Miz or Shane as faces challenging DB would be terrible but also entirely possible. I doubt Kenny Omega is signing with the WWE anytime soon. Maybe they'll have Shinsuke drop the US title and go babyface again. Who knows really.

The thing a lot of people forget is that the Miz face turn actually started off pretty hot, but then they had him just get eliminated like it was nothing at Survivor Series and then was when they transitioned him to just being a goody-good doing commentary and talk shows while really never doing anything of substance. I think if you had Miz stay an arrogant, flashy douchebag while emphasizing his history and what an underdog he's been, you could make it work.

The only way turning Miz face will work is if they let him stay the exact same arrogant dick he is now. If they have him go all plucky underdog like last time, it'll flop again. Miz needs to be a prick. I don't care if it's directed at heels, but just let him be a prick.

By all means emphasize what an unlikely success he's been, but don't have him be all, "Aw, shucks, I'm sure I can get it done," about things. He needs to go, "Yeah, I main-evented WrestleMania, I'm a Grand Slam winner, I've beaten all of the company's top guys, so what makes you think you can stop me?" about it.

I didn’t see either on there, but my top two picks are Rey Mysterio or Kofi Kingston. Before he was cleared for his WWE return I remember him talking on the E&C pod about watching a lot of lucha recently and wanting to wrestle in Mexico and do a hair vs mask match. I kind of wonder if he’s been campaigning to work with Rey and do that at Mania. Rey has been really damn good in his return, I think they’d tear the house down.
As for Kofi, there’s not really anything left for New Day to do and the other two have been openly pushing for Kofi to get a world title run. Now is as good a time as any.

I'm so down for a hair vs. mask feud with Rey. What a freaking match that could be.

Mysterio... I'm really just not a fan of him to begin with to be honest, but a problem with doing any sort of _____ vs. Mask thing with him is he's going to win no matter what so it's just a boring waste of time.

My top pick would be Kofi Kingston.
1) Have all of those Royal Rumble highlights culminate in a win finally. 2) New Day have been consistently over for years now. 3) He's been a multiple time midcard and tag team champion. Pushing him as that guy that's determined to finally win the big one should be easy.
They can put the part timers and Shane in some sort of tag match or something gimmicky if they think they need big names to sell WrestleMania. Leave the title matches for the full time wrestlers, especially at a time when you need to build new main event stars.

Shane's apparently turning heel so not him. Lol at the idea of Miz. Right now it's just a matter of who you'd pick personally.
Honestly, I'd pick Kofi. Him winning that title would be such a huge moment for him. I doubt it'll be him but I wish it was.

They could make Miz work if they have him as a tweener. Even now he does the cowardly heel stuff, uses Maryse as a shield, uses foreign objects and cheats to win. At the same time he can give fantastic fiery babyface promos about what he's overcome to have the career he's had, to overcome the naysayers who wanted him to go back to reality tv (ironically he did but he's still wrestling). It was his fiery promo that reignited the feud with Bryan. I would think people underestimating him and him being incensed by it and giving those fiery promos could work. Just don't turn him fully face, keep a bit of that arrogance, that willingness to do what it takes to win.
