I just came across this match on YouTube, and after finishing it, I knew I had to post it here.
It's from an Italian promotion called Rising Sun Wrestling Promotion and is for the Rising Championship, and features the super popular babyface, Akira challenging the hated heel champion Andy Manero for the title.
And here's the first thing that made me take notice. When Akira made his entrance, there were some people throwing streamers. A very, very small amount of people, but there were some. Then Manero made his entrance, and well... not to put too fine a point on it, but the crowd pretty much TP'd the heel champion.
I'm not kidding. There was toilet paper flying everywhere. It was truly a sight to behold.
The second thing that made me take notice was during the match, when it looked like Akira was done for, but was somehow able to kick out, the entire front row ran up to the ring, and started pounding on it to cheer Akira on. It was an incredible visual.
Guys, watch this match. Because sometimes, Professional Wrestling is awesome.

Downloaded the match. Going to watch it later. Few years ago long time heel Frankie Superkick Thomas would get the TP as streamers treatment. A few of us local fans have been talking about doing streamers.
Loving all the replies so far. Nice to see a thread not infected by negativity.

I love how much R-Truth loved that.

Becky Lynch is killing it in WWE and Evolution was probably my favourite non-NXT WWE show of 2018.
NXT is the best I've ever seen it.
WWE is expanding, giving more wrestlers a chance to make it big.
At the same time, The Elite and a ton of others are showing that there is opportunity to be a top pro wrestler outside of WWE.
I'm digging the NWA YouTube channel.
Pete Dunne exists
Edit: it's just so bizarre being a wrestling fan in 2018. I don't think anybody could have predicted this landscape in say, 2013.

I have another one. It's from the same company as the last one I talked about, and even for the same title. In this match, it's Akira, defending his title against Ashley Dunn and Flash Morgan Webster in a triple threat match.
This match is just plain fun. While there were times were certain spots were derivative of earlier ones and a tiny bit repetitive, there were some spots that I thought were really creative, such as fairly early on, when all three men went for a Superkick, and all three caught the foot to block it, leaving a three way stalemate
There was an extended brawling section of the match, during which Flash Morgan Webster was thrown into a wall, and the wall dented. During the same brawling section, Ashley Dunn was having fans hold onto Akira so he could knife edge chop him, Aira escaped just in time, and Dunn ended up chopping the fan. The crowd did a small "Yes!" chant to that, and chanted "You Deserve It!" afterwards, so I think the chopped fan was actually an authority figure, or something on the show.
Just a very fast paced match with some cool and unique spots that was just a lot of fun to watch.

I've recently started watching MLW on Youtube (since they upload their weekly show there), and have been enjoying it.
It's a lot easier to enjoy a wrestling show when you only have to invest 1 hour of your time into it.

The David McLane/Jeannie Buss vehicle Women of Wrestling making a return later this month makes me happy. I really liked watching it in 2000-01, and this is an extension of that.
As I mentioned in the actual thread, David "gets it" when it comes to my enjoyment of wrestling. (Maybe because we're both from Indiana.) Silly, stereotypical "paint by the numbers" characters (without going into insensitive territory) whom you can see issues between before they have a match. You don't need convoluted stories where people have to watch every second of every show to follow. Occassional goofy skits are a plus for this group.
Not expecting matches to blow me away with workrate. Just work within the context of the story you're trying to sell.
That's all I want, and all I expect. Shut my brain off, I want to get lost in the action.
