I don't get it.
The short as presented in the animatic was a good short, not amazing or anything, but it was entertaining.
Compared to that the actual finished short...is the epitome of:

Well of course. The guitar thing with Dash was just a minor thing, the trapping them was Siren influence, and most importantly she didn't use a magical artifact to try and impose her will (Sunset beat her to that punch).
Plus, there has barely been any interaction between Human Trixie and Sci-Twi.
