I was talking to the coach of the Los Angeles team earlier today and he likes to call his players a bunch of Wildcats... Wait a minute, they...actually...are...called...the Wildcats??

I’m liking the Houston logo. The titans should have never moved!

I’m trying to decide which team I’m going to root for in the few weeks this league exists. I’ve got it down to the BattleHawks, Dragons, and Guardians.

The three I'm choosing from are Seattle, Dallas, and DC.
I want to see the helmets and unis for each team as well.

your mascot for the Tampa Bay Vipers: Too bad that wasn’t the St. Louis team. Only disappointing one was LA. The extent of their creativity was to browse the most popular high school names. I like the Guardians and Renegades...weren’t those the rival factions in Go Bots?

Buzzfeed quiz where you have to figure out if it's the name of an XFL team or a skinhead group that one of your uncles belongs to

ProFootball Live on NBCSN just took full aim at the XFL this morning. I caught just the end but it seemed from that that they were more skeptical because spring football doesn't work at all, in their view.

BattleHawks is kind of growing on me. At first it sounded silly but now I'm ok with it. At long the league last and is successful I'm ok with it. I just hope they do more to let people in the local market here more aware of it. To many still have no idea that the XFL is here. Even with the all day ESPN radio coverage in the market. Still a lot of What is this? Which doesn't sound good for ticket sales to fill a 60,000 seated venue. The Cardinals and Blues Social said nothing about them but was all over welcoming the MLS reward franchsie Tuesday. Not sure if its because MLS is more established as a brand but I was hoping all the local teams support each other. XFL still the step child around here it seems.

The MLS has been around for a long time, will be in St. Louis for a long time, and the local fanbase is crazy about soccer. St. Louis has never been a great football market and a lot of the cootball fans are still feeling jilted by the Rams. At least make the XFL establish themselves before shouting them out.

St. Louis has never been a great football market and a lot of the cootball fans are still feeling jilted by the Rams. At least make the XFL establish themselves before shouting them out. Part of the problem was that St. Louis had long been used to bad football, what with the Cardinals only making history for just existing and, aside from one year or two, the Rams stinking up an already terrible venue, plus the XFL has to overcome two issues; spring football being a failed commodity and its own failures. At least with Major League Soccer, in spite of how sketchy it may seem with its rapid expansion policy, there is some hope on bringing in a new generation and, perhaps, a winning tradition.

No one outside of ESPN is taking the XFL seriously, and ESPN has an economic interest in people taking the XFL seriously.
