My official bet: It lasts the whole season but by Week 6 you will be able to tell the Networks are going to abandon it.
That said, i'm going to give it a shot. Got nothing else going on next weekend.

Potentially. I think having legit tv contracts help the XFL, and the more I hear about the AAF the more it I'd quite clear Ebersole and Polian had no idea what they were doing. And for all the crap Vince deserves, he did put some smart people in charge of the XFL

As with any other business venture Vince has ever been involved in, it wouldn't be shit without the WWE and it probably won't be shit a few years from now.

Scrubs playing spring football.
That's what this is. Again, people will tune in at first out of morbid curiosity, and then it will fall off a cliff.
And how funny is it that Jennifer Lopez does the Super Bowl halftime show nineteen years after she's the host of SNL where the XFL game ran late and pissed off NBC? I wonder how she feels about this bullshit coming back. Haha.

Since after the original announcement of Oliver Luck, Vince, hardly done anything with the media for the XFL. He been staying away and allowing Oliver Luck to do all the media stuff and really let him do his thing. Luck as brought together a hell of a team of people to build the league from with in. The TV deal the XFL got compared to the AAF is night and day. I don't see it being abandon this time around after a season honestly. When you dealing with more than one TV network compared to only one like the first time. One of them could think the programming was worth it compared to whatever else they could run.

The league has created "Team 9"; a practice squad of players that can be added for depth chart purposes so teams can have resources if need be. Sadly, no merchandise potential is there to be had.

Wait, so XFL games will be on Fox, ESPN, and ABC? That’s crazy. I know football is popular in the US but do the networks really believe people will watch inferior talent play football a week after the NFL season ended?
