I'd like to think I'm Belle, because I like to read, have brown hair, and like ugly men. Unfortunately in reality it's more that I have the personality of Cheryl Tunt combined with the appetite and body of Pam Poovey. What's wrong with Pam?

In-show, her lack of attractiveness is a running plot point. To be fair, they play it up for comedy. But she's definitely not written to be a traditionally attractive person.

My response whenever a woman's weight is not within societal norms and a comment is made. Yeah, it's funny and I laugh at the show and Pam but still what's pleasing to the touch and pleasing to the eye are often not the same. Or as a friend of mine puts it, I just have a woodie for big ole healthy girls.
