I still stand by that pick being the right thing for them Eli might be trash personified but whatever rookie your draft and bring in will have the ultimate leisure in OBJ, Barkley, Sterling, Engram OL is trash but the weapons are there
I agree. A rookie QB would get murdered behind this OLine and we've seen how that's hurt this class (except for Lamar Jackson in Baltimore). You can afford to draft a QB until after you get the OL solidified. Are there any QBs worth an early pick anyways, especially if you don’t have the #1 pick?

What I expect them to do is draft a OL and sign one and get no QB still trying to say Eli can get it done for this team

Father Time sporting the full white beard on that 54yd FG.
Edit. The replay showed he had the leg to make that from at least 60yds.

The thing is with the draft this year is the teams with the worst picks don't need a QB. Hell if you project the top 10 today, the only teams who would need a QB is Jacksonville and the Giants
Herbert from Oregon is the top QB pick. Now the question is, will someone like Washington or Jacksonville trade up into the top 3 to get him. Someone like the Jets would entertain moving back from a potential top 3 spot as SF and Raiders seem locks for 1 and 2 and Bosa is getting drafted number 1
Haskins from Ohio St should go in the 1st. It's not a deep QB draft this year as far as first round talent is concerned. You can pick up a QB in the 2nd-4th round and develop him

I would not guarantee that Gruden won’t trade Carr for picks and take a QB with their pick.

Watching this game, I realize that the Colts are going to be scary next year. Not only has Ballard drafted well (and willingly jettisoned anyone who does not work out), but he has been good with his free agent signings. They have the most cap space next year and will need to spend to avoid the salary floor. Imagine what he might do when he spends freely.

I would not guarantee that Gruden won’t trade Carr for picks and take a QB with their pick. It's a possibility I wouldn't disagree with
Jacksonville is a team who feels they are a QB away from being great but I can see them signing Flacco instead of trading capital for Carr
Giants may consider it but as listed above, Flacco is also an option if you don't want Eli anymore.
Redskins will probably hit the full reset button and draft a QB as they signed Alex Smith to be a stop gap and he may never play again. Can't see them taking on Carr
Buccaneers maybe, if they are truly tired of Winston
Dolphins the same if they are tired of Tannehill
Denver the same as listed above but they aren't as bad as people thought they would be
Ultimately, the Raiders have 3 first round picks and Gruden has to hit on 2 of them at least otherwise this 10 year contract is horrid. Trading Carr for a 3rd round pick could be a possibility but ultimately I see them holding on to Carr for now

Aaron Rodgers hasn't thrown a pick since Week 4
Broke the record for most past attempts without an interception at 359

I think the right move for the Giants would be signing a veteran QB younger than Eli that could act as a sort of transitional QB until another good QB draft class comes up. This upcoming draft looks to be heavy on defensive players in the front seven, which is another weakness the Giants have, especially on pass rush.

Not a fan of this Houston challange. Might bite us in the ass later in the game.
