Didn't even know about D'vorah. Awesome to hear, I love her. I would have been disappointed if she was a no-show, especially since they seemed to be building up to something with her in MKX.

With the time travel shenanigans going on in this, I wouldn't be surprised if a main reason they brought her back was so Mileena could get in-story payback.

I could see it (although that could also be why Baraka is back) but I'm not really sure how she's supposed to do that when D'vorah shrugged off being cut in half in the comics.

No reason this roster should not be insanely stupid with the time travel implications

Still hoping we get Frost. I'm sure there's plenty they could do to distinguish her from Sub-Zero and she had an interesting premise in Deadly Alliance.

Comic continuity is an iffy thing, so who knows. Just hope she's back for a friend's sake, and still with her MKX mouth.

I am interested to see just how far back they are gonna go with this time travel story because like other captain said that has the possibility of making this roster nutty but also guarantees a mini reboot of sorts.
Like go back to ..pre-sindel squash in MK9 and save all of those that died.....welcome back Jade , Smoke , Jax , Cyber Sub Zero.
But in doing that well welcome to yet another new timeline
Or we going back to the OG timeline where everone but Khan is dead.
But this is where the story falls the f*** apart...Chronica is said to have been behind all of this and played out exactly as she wanted....so she wanted the OG timeline to end like it did...in order for this new timeline to exsist?
I really hope they understand the implications of using timetravel yet again as a plot device because if not they may as well just start from scratch again with the story.

She wanted Armageddon to happen, Raiden undoing it is where she started having a problem. Why she waited like 20 years to do anything, who the hell knows.

I could see Shinnok's kinda-sorta-death being the big wrench in the timeline. Shao Kahn being defeated, okay, he didn't succeed in the original timeline either and while he now doesn't win Armageddon, Kronika probably wouldn't want him to anyway. Liu Kang dying, okay, he died in the original timeline, too. Even Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are dead. But Armageddon doesn't happen at all without Shinnok to tell them about the prize for winning. Then again, it could be something else entirely, I dunno.

Smoke's part of the team. They're in the Netherrealm and you can bet your ass that's where Sektor and the Lin Kuei Grandmaster wound up. There's really no reason at all why they couldn't roboticize Shinnok.

D’Vorah? Oh dear. I was hoping they’d put her in the same category as Darrius, Kai and Hotaru as in characters they brought in as new for one game and never brought back (not counting Armageddon).

Considering how big a role she played last game I figured without doubt she be back to scheme and manipulate again but you have to think they bring Milenna back to get her back

There's really no reason at all why they couldn't roboticize Shinnok. I mean, at the very least, they should've planned for Shinnok's death in some way. If all it took to "kill" him was a lightning sword by Raiden (which he apparently can just do), I'm not sure Shinnok should've been bragging so much about being immortal. Then again, it looks like his head is still alive so maybe there's some "Damashi tricking Shujinko" stuff in the works.

To be honest I kind of want Hotaru back. He was kind of half-baked (mostly in how his only real character is, "He is a guy from Seido") but I like his moveset and the idea of Seido isn't a bad one.

Erron Black's name leaked through some files. Ehhhhhh. I figured he was going to come back but I was hoping he wouldn't. Not that I so much mind the character, and I get that he's popular, but I really don't find him that fun to play as and he had basically nothing to do with the plot. Granted the latter point also goes for Ferra-Torr and I'd love to have them back (don't think there's a chance in hell though), but still.

Eh, Erron Black didn't do much for me. I liked his X-Ray move, but that's about it.

Ah, the most original character from MKX is back. Love that guy, and his deep character traits like "owns guns" and "likes guns". But hey, you can't question a fresh, unique design like this.
