I love the character/puppet designs. What a great show. I would've loved it if it had been on when i was a kid.

Something I find interesting is how PBS pretty much ignores this series for its PBS Kids digital lineup, but syndicates stuff like Caillou & Peg + Cat, which I consider to be the exact opposite of quality programming. I'm guessing the syndication rights for the books might be a barrier, but I don't know.

Cliff Hanger was my favorite segment. Cliff Hanger, hanging on a cliff, and that's why they call him Cliff Hanger. Can't...hold...on...much...LONGER!

Watched this a few times when babysitting younger cousins and loved it. I wish the other MPB kids show still existed. Was called Tomes and Talismens. Set in the future on a barren earth. It was made to teach kids the Dewey decimal system. We would see one episode a week at school when I was in 3rd grade. But never got to see the final episode. The MPB YouTube channel uploaded the first episode. I contacted them and was told that one episode is all they have. Was going to contact the librarians at my elementary school, but the school was shut down 7 years ago. I love lots of people have this idea that MS is a state full of stupid hicks. But so many incredibly talented people are from MS. Like Hensen, piles of blues artists and the director of the Penitentiary series.

Could be the whole Mississippi thing as well. Curious what Mississippi thing? When production of the show moved to Mississippi, they started using non-union workers and talent. This could be why the show isn't rerun, due to the show going non-union.

They have too many new shows in production to keep old ones in the lineup.
