I really enjoyed this episode, and I've generally enjoyed the past few. I've loved this series for 11 years now, and it really seems like he's hitting his stride the last few months. Now I kinda feel like going back and watching all his Xmas ones lol. You can give that Sega products one a skip

I had a good laugh with this episode. Plenty of good callbacks to the movies. A bunch of crap games to go through. And some good banter between the Nerd and Culkin. I know Culkin had some rough spots over the years, but it's nice to see him doing his own thing and being a good sport about it. Also, ToeJam & Earl shirt? Dude has good taste.
Now I need to look for the Genesis version of Home Alone. It actually looks pretty good.

Culkin brings up a good point- imagine that you see your likeness in a video game which is exciting, but then you actually play the game and find out the game is awful. That must be pretty disappointing when you're like 11.

I was starting to think that I had grown out of AVGN, but the episodes this year have been excellent and have really pulled me back in.

Was pretty disappointed they didn't bother playing the PS2 game, however. I'm guessing they didn't have a region compatible PlayStation 2, or it was something that had been beaten to the ground already.

Yeah, he's been good again lately.
Looks like they planned this around July. Culkin tweeted at him and Mike asked if he wanted to arrange something. Very cool! He's definitely an unusual and kinda reclusive guy, so to get him to not only come out to film something but to also do it for a Home Alone property means he must be a pretty big fan of AVGN. Brilliant idea for a guest!
I loved the ending. Very surreal to see it - imagine telling James that he'd one day set traps with Kevin McCalister on Home Alone video game carts in his basement. The joke at 6:55 is hysterical "I swear to God, next time I see Macaulay Culkin's face, I'm gonna run my f***ing fist right through it!" (Culkin, still in disguise, nervously cowers in fear)

Unless you like Keith Apicary, yeah, it's avoidable I don't know enough about the guy to have feelings about his work, but phew that vid was the same slapstick joke over and over again.

Yeah, it's definitely playable, unlike the NES and SNES games.

It's definitely one of the weakest episodes, along with the Lloyd Kaufman one and the Dark Towers video, though the latter one was more like a failed experiment than just a huge whiff on the comedy.

The cheese pizza line was pretty great. Say this for Culkin, he seems a really good sport about himself especially given he had rough go of it for quite some time. Definitely makes one feel good seeing him doing better now.

Unless you like Keith Apicary, yeah, it's avoidable I'm no fan, but I have always wondered how Nathan gets away with causing all the damage that he does over the years (in general), crashing into anything and everything.

I had the Genesis version of Home Alone 2, and while it got frustrating, it was actually not too bad. Yeah, it's definitely playable, unlike the NES and SNES games. I now realized that with the Genesis version, I also had my cousin who owned the NES version of 2 PLUS I owned the Game Boy copy of the first game. Man, being named Kevin really did f*** with my head apparently.

(language) The Incredible Culk's been everywhere lately. That was fantastic. I love that Culkin is in a place where he can have fun with himself
