No punchline, no twist. After years of collaboration, the business side of it was too much, and it ceased being fun and fulfilling for them.
The podcast is ending, too, with this seemingly being why Woolie began his own podcast. Matt's been putting a lot of effort into his personal channel for a while now, Pat's going to be focusing on Twitch for the time being, and Woolie has Woolie Versus. Of course, Liam's been doing his own thing for a while now.
It was fun while it lasted.

Can't blame them if the business side of things is getting to be too much. I dunno how much money they were making, but at some point you gotta enjoy what you're doing. And if the business side of things was overriding that joy, then yeah, it's time to pack it up. Shame it took a friendship eroding to make that clear, but that's the risk you run when you mix friendships and business. Tale as old as time though. How many Youtube channels/projects have crumbled under the same weight? It seems like one of those problems you don't notice until it's already in play, so I'm not passing blame.
Not the biggest fan of theirs but I had seen them do work with people I do follow (Maximilian being a big one for me). Good luck to all of them.

Not something I wanted to hear about today.
At their peak with Liam, SBFP were easily my favorite gaming channel, mostly because of how loose and fun they were without delving into the usual “faux rage” stereotype where everyone was James Rolfe influenced (nothing against Rolfe, but the Zaibatsu were something different).
Their dynamic was super fun to listen to. I just about died laughing during their Detroit Become Human and Killer Instinct play throughs, and the time where the Wu-Tang game they wanted to play wouldn’t load and they just turned on Third Strike.
But unfortunately, if the show isn’t enjoyable for them anymore, it won’t be for the audience. Best of luck to them on their own and thanks for the good times.

Was just thinking about these guys. I really liked back when they were starting out before Woolie and Liam went full time, and they'd do a good 10 minute highlight video of them playing the game. The unedited let's plays and friday night fisticuffs had some gold, but were a bit of a slog.
