Still their best album. And I love all of their albums. Would love to have heard the studio album that came next.

I miss when MTV Unplugged was legitimately great in showcasing the strengths of artists. Nirvana, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Neil Young...each of them put on shows that arguably outshine their regular work.

The best thing they ever did. Just an hauntingly beautiful masterpiece of a show.

I always mark for the guy who cheers when he recognizes the cover of Bowie's the Man Who Sold the World. I'd milk that for hipster cred forever if I was him.

*sigh*
When MTV stood for Music Television, and they actually, you know...gave a f*** about music.

I used to fall asleep to this album. Yeah, I think it's a really soothing album. Very melodic.

I used to fall asleep to this album. Same. Have a smoke and then go to bed listening to this album was like a nightly routine for me in high school. Absolutely one of my favourite albums of all time.

I watched this for the first time about five years after the fact. As corny as it sounds, this show/album was definitely one of those life-changing things for me.

I wonder if David Geffen bought Kurt the guitar from the Leadbelly estate...?
