Someone like that called me up years ago when I was in high school, spoke in a heavy accent demanding to see so and so and for money. I got annoyed halfway through and hung up.

My aunt (who has since passed away), got a call like this, a few years ago. Someone called, saying my cousin's car hit her car, and they were suing for so much money, and she would be "off the hook", if they sent $1,250 (something like that). My cousin isn't a great driver, and my aunt was living with a quarter of her heart, still working. My uncle called the police, and they were able to track down the caller, and verify that they were scammers.

Basically the same thing happened to my grandpa. Except I was in jail and needed bail. Since I couldn’t answer such skill testing questions as my own name, my brothers name and the fact I’m not the eldest grandson like I claimed on the phone, he hung up and called the police. Sad History.Did you ever get out of jail? You know how you get one phone call? In jail, when you use the computer, you're only allowed to post once, in a message board.

Pro tip: Anyone calling claiming that they are from the IRS and you need to pay money or you will get your house foreclosed on/wages garnished/fined out of existence, just remember that while the IRS can love you long time in all of those ways, they are an old fashioned lover. They sent passionate love letters and don't call you on the phone. same thing up here. those orgs typically won't threaten legal action unless someone is doing major tax evasion, like in the millions or billions of dollars. they typically just charge a penalty and additional interest on already outstanding charges instead of calling the police lol. they MAY call you depending on the situation for information but they sure as hell don't call to demand money/threaten arrests. Also if they were going to arrest you they wouldn't call to give you time to run

Your post would be "Get bent, Ha-Ha" and everyone would be so confused... (For the 99% of you who are confused, this is a Golden Girls reference).
