Comedy is subjective, but the ones I can watch from the 70s that still hold up: - Fawlty Towers - Mary Tyler Moore - Bob Newhart Show - Soap - Taxi - M*A*S*H - Sanford and Sons I mean really, the ones you have easy access to nowadays all have their own distinct charm and "hold up" for the most part. All depends on what kind of comedy you're looking for. Bob Newhart is the Lance Russell of his show. He's the straight man trying to make sense of all the wackiness in the world around him. The opening has Bob missing his train and walking the 32 blocks to his office.

Bob Newhart and Lance Russell, interesting comparison, from one legenderary werestling announcer to another, I watched some old episodes of GCW from the late 70's and early 80's and Gorden Solie wardrobe reminds me so much of Bob Newhart.

I didn't think of Gordon because I haven't seen a lot of his 70s stuff. But now that you bring it up, it makes sense.

Good Times is still very funny. Out of all the better known 70s sitcoms only Happy Days doesn't hold up for me. As a kid it was one of my favorite shows. Re watching it now they go for the easy joke way too often. And Fonzie is a bigger putz than Ralph Mouth.
The Carrol Burnett show is still really funny.

Most of the British ones. Fawlty Towers, Dads Army, Steptoe and Son, Porridge, Open All Hours, Some Mothers Do Ave Em and The Good Life etc.
