Y'know, I think I foolishly thought at one point that Aiden English had some worth outside of the Rusev Day thing, and wouldn't be dropped like a stone the moment they had their blow off match.
I mean, have him wrestle on Main Event or 205. There's nothing wrong with him.
Alas, they did the one thing we don't really want to think when they have no plans for them - they send 'em home because had no plans for him.

In the Smackdown live of Old, i'm sure they would have found something for him in there. Even if it is a low midcard program. The worst part is,HE HAD HEAT. He was over as aheel after the feud,both guy were more over for it.All you had to to was do something with both of then. |

No idea why they split up ANY team when they don’t have immediate plans for the members.
They should make Aiden English and Jack Gallagher The Vaudevillains. Adds a new tag team to the division, problem solved.

My guess is it was WWE's usual, "Tag guys can't do anything singles," philosophy combined with wanting to see if the Rusev Day gimmick would stay over with Rusev doing it solo.
