With the attention and crowd support that Becky is getting, what are the chances that management would actually book her to defeat Ronda? As much as I would love to see it happen, it’s a safer bet IMO to bet against logic when it comes to Vince’s decision making.

The smart move is Becky. The mainstream press would pay attention, and it would be a great place to amplify a new star. Get her on the talk show circuit. And really point out how different the women's wrestling is now.
The plot move, and the one they would go with, is Ronda. She's technically the face in this, and WWE always gives the celeb the win at Mania.

Should be Becky from a booking and kayfabe standpoint
She has been able to stand tall for almost a year without suffering setbacks. Taking an L to Becky would give her a story of having to climb back up the ladder

With modern WWE mentality Ronda wins.
The smart thing to do though would be to use Ronda to help make a huge star in the mainstream like they did with Tyson and Austin.Ronda Rousey is already as famous and over as she will ever be, Becky still has room to grow as a star.

If Ronda does win then yeah they've gone full Lesnar with her in regards to her being better than everyone else and it will kill whatever good will she has left

I like Ronda but by April she'll have been champ for soooooooooo long that it'd be high time she lost anyway. I think Becky would get the "looking strong in defeat" treatment though.

Ronda loses and turns heel. Or Ronda wins by kayfabe breaking Becky’s arm when she refuses to submit, causing a heel turn then. Basically the Austin/Hart finish from Mania 13.

Becky looking strong in defeat is the way to go. Because Becky has her character sorted out and can bounce back from a big loss.
I can’t say the same for Ronda at the moment.

Ronda will, Becky should. I'd be ok with Ronda winning as long as they copy Austin/Hart from WM13. It's been over 20 years. They can recycle that angle. Than have Becky chase Ronda over the summer where she finally wins the title at Summer Slam.

Ronda, assuming she's still undefeated.
After Asuka lost her streak last year they'd switch things this year.

Leaning towards Ronda, should be Becky. Not just because she's my favorite or anything, but if they want to keep Ronda over as a face she's going to have to suffer a setback or two at some point. As long as it main events, I don't care who wins though.

Unless they are going with a big heel turn for Ronda (seems unlikely), I would imagine she’s a lock to go over. Becky has shown the ability to come off of losses on multiple occasions, and you can keep her over after the match.

We'll see how big their promises are when that match hits because from what the booking and fan support says, you need to go with Becky right now.

Depends on how they get there.
If Becky wins the Women's Rumble, then she should win. It's about time a Rumble Winner doesn't choke.
If they do it another way, I'm OK with Ronda winning, as long as they show Becky as being eminently capable of being on a similar level, and Ronda just happened to find a way to get it done that particular night.
*I reserve the right to change my opinion to "Ronda should Brock Lesnar her" should Becky decide to go full Conor McGregor in the build-up.
