It feels weird without Roman around

It's been a few months since he's left and it just feels weird. Sure, people are being pushed, things are changing, the company is trying to adapt but it really feels like it's missing something. The weird thing is that Roman being gone feels like more of a loss roster-wise than Cena when he started leaving.

It'll be interesting whenever he returns to see the landscape of things. I don't know about you all but I want Roman wrecking shop when he comes back. I want him taking no prisoners, just doing what it do.

Breaks for more wrestlers would make them seem fresher. Roman is a different case for sure.

But the rest of the roster, guys like Joe, Jeff, AJ, Rusev, Balor, etc... if they all took different turns throughout the year off television, it would keep them really fresh as characters. 9 month WWE calendars for talent should be the norm.

Yeah, it feels so weird to me. I got so used to his push that everything feels sort of lost without him. I’m sure that’ll just come Mania time, but Jesus his lack of presence is felt.

Won't lie, I feel for Roman the man's circumstances, but in no way has it made me want to see Roman the wrestler any more. He was, and this is undisputable, a part of the problem. I can't say the shows are any BETTER with him gone, but they're not demonstrably any worse, either.

Him not being there is a loss for the roster and has hurt them

You may not like him or want him on your TV but he makes a presence and not having him their does make the show feel like it is missing something

Can’t say I disagree with you. I wish Roman the man speedy recovery but don’t want to see Roman the wrestler anytime soon. Though the shows haven’t gotten any better with out him

To be honest I've barely noticed he's gone. I think it's because I didn't enjoy him to begin with and they've really made no actual effort to replace him, the machine's just kept chugging along with his parts of it removed.

It’s only jarring to me because RAW has an absentee Champion in Lesnar, and the company hasn’t made clear who the next “chosen one” is. They haven’t pulled the trigger on Rollins, Stroman or Balor. Elias still requires a lot of build to get there. I don’t think the company has a clue of who they want to take that spot.

All the characters are interchangeable with vague non stories, I haven't noticed.


Edit: and i think its kinda funny, i think its kinda sad, that if you dont specify you're upset he has cancer. You will be seen as kinda bad. Can we just not assume the general populace has that much compassion? The ones that dont? Trust me, they'll be twirling their mustaches as they edge lord out and let you know.

You're not the only one that wants that. Instead of Reigns on the deck for most of the match, I want to see him dominate. None of this working from under shit against bums like Corbin and Mahal - just dominate them. Have him kill jabronis on Raw, not take 10 minutes to beat them.

Next Royal Rumble he's in, have him spend much of it on attack, not sleeping in the corner or spending it backstage. Have him take part in hard hitting brawls. Make him look like a Franchise Player, instead of a bum.

I want the Roman that laid waste to the League of Nations in December 2015. Book the dude like a Silent Badass Killer, and he will get OVER AS F***.

It feels very empty, and they have done a dreadful job adjusting to Roman’s absence.

Yeah, I don't think anyone will assume you are talking about the man/Joe Anoa'i in general.
