Not necessarily because they were good or highly praised. Just shows that were meh , never advertised and got average to low rating but went on for years.
For me, I was baffled how long
Yes dear Rules of engagement
Were on the air.
I’m really surprised to hear SuperNatural is still going. I don’t know if it’s any good but most people who watch it point out that it peaked years ago and already ended it’s most interesting arc.
While popular, I swear I thought Bones was supposed to end like 3 times before it officially ended. They like 3 season finales that looked like series finales.

My thing with Supernatural is that once you beat Satan, as in the actual Lucifer himself, you literally can't go anywhere from that point. Except that they did....

didn't last as long as the others but 'Til Death getting to 4 seasons was impressive for it.
Anger Management got 100 episodes, thanks to them ordering 90 at once

It got insane how off the rails that show got. Got rid of the attractive neighbors, got rid Kristin Ritter as the daughter, Jb smoove for one year and they went all Russo with all the 4th wall busting

Last of the Summer Wine. It did get big ratings back in the 70s/80s but it seemed like no one cared from about 99 onwards (after Compo died). Obviously someone did because it ran for another decade after that.

Krysten Ritter got recast if I call

It's pretty sad that the series finale tagline was "Jim dies!" to get people to watch. Spoiler alert; he doesn't die.

Last Man Standing is still airing isn't it? Think it's changed network hasn't it? It has lasted nearly as long as Home Improvement

I keep thinking Grey's Anatomy has been canceled/ended like 3 times by now. Maybe it's just me.

Woody's Roundup
Around for years, then, canceled without warning. Never got to see if Woody rescued Jessie and Stinky Pete.

StarGate SG-1 ran for ten seasons, and each of the last three seasons were expected to be the last. Teryl Rothery agreed to have her character killed off in season 7 in expectation of the end of the show, and was justifiably pissed off when it was renewed. Last of the Summer Wine. It did get big ratings back in the 70s/80s but it seemed like no one cared from about 99 onwards (after Compo died). Obviously someone did because it ran for another decade after that. Holy shit. That show was still on as recently as 2010?
