Could be worse. I heard Sylvester Stallone was charging $445 for a picture and $395 for an autograph at the New York Comic Con in 2013. Apparently Ben Affleck was charging around $250 for pictures and autographs, however, he signed on to appear on like a week’s notice so that might explain the price. As for Stallone, he was there as a guest of Celebrity Authentics, a sports and Hollywood memorabilia company that seems to exist to gouge dumbasses. Example, right now you can buy an autographed 8x10 of Paul Rudd for “only” $299 And you can also get a Samuel L Jackson or Arnold Schwarzenegger autographed picture for $749.99

He (or the company he's signed with) is charging $191. People will pay $191 if they want to. So what's the problem again? The fact he (or the company he's signed with) is charging $191. Sure, some people are idiotic enough to pay it, but how many kids are gonna be disappointed that they can't meet their hero because it costs $191 to do so and their dad can't afford it, or, refuses to pay such a ridiculous fee? The rest appearing made their prices reasonable.

I don’t know what Stallone is smoking for that number though. I really don't get the greed. They're multi millionaires. I met Beckham... At the height of his fame, at a meet and greet. It was free. He signed autographs. Took photos. Chatted with fans. He was there for the whole day. Free. And he was at the time the biggest name in sports. I also met him after a football match, again he came over to the fans and signed autographs and did photos with everyone there. Great guy. Now I'm not asking them to do events for free like Beckham. But at least be reasonable. At this wrestling event, the rest are fine. Some surprisingly low (Booker and Nash) for their status.

I'm just amused that Eric Bischoff thinks he's worth more than Ric Flair.

Undertaker is also doing a talk show tour as well in the UK. The cheapest photo-op ticket was £220 and that was without an autograph. With an autograph added an extra £80.
The most I paid to meet someone was £95 to for a similar talk show with Chris Jericho. It's surreal meeting wrestlers, with Jericho and Scott Steiner I literally towered over them.

Here’s how it works: the company or promoter running the event pays Taker a flat fee to come there for X hours. That company/promoter can then charge whatever they think the market will bear to maximize their profit. For all we know taker is making the equivalent of $30-40 per photo and the promoter is pocketing the rest. Taker did not set that $191 price.

I got to meet Jim Cornette, and I'm not sure he was charging anything-I bought a book and had my picture taken with him and was so happy to meet someone I've been watching since my teens-you can't really put a price on that.

Even if he didn't set the price, can we make money hungry Undertaker a thing? Because this shit is cracking me up.

Ironically the only celebrity that i'd consider paying that much for had the last name Cash.

For 2 thousand bucks you can attend a Paul McCartney soundcheck standing in the back of the arena where he cant see you, you get a poster not signed, a shirt and a vegan buffet.
You can meet Ringo for around 15 grand if you buy one of his paintings.
Mark Hamill at cons charges around 200 bucks per autograph, and takes off 50 bucks per additional item. Then its 250 bucks for a photo with him.
