1) I couldn't believe that was Mick Foley.
2) this was right near the beginning of ADR's actual face run.
3) the kids were chanting "YOU KILLED SANTA."
4) Cena's backstage bit, which IIRC united faces and heels around him.
5) Ricardo getting smashed with Santa's bag later on, even though he (and ADR) was crying over the accident.
Fascinating weirdness - probably in mostly bad ways - all around.

Del Rio running over Santa is the only tiem I ever enjoyed Del Rio.
it helped it was actually GOOD writing since he had just turned face and no one had a reason to believe him.

The absurd thing about this was that this Raw episode aired a week after Del Rio turned face. And it was clearly an accident yet they treat him like a monster who deserved to be punished. Morality in the WWE is messed up. |

Last year on the dark match for the SDL/205 Live taping, we got AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura & Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Jinder Mahal.
Orton threw Sami into the trees lining the background on the stage. It was telling us "Okay folks, Christmas is over."
(And I am thankful this year it's not 1 degree outside.)

Easily the best thing Del Rio ever did. my favorite del rio moment as well. bonus points for how he held the pose after the teddy bear bounced off cena like he is actually shocked it had no effect on him. |
