It's actually almost impressive that there are people who manage to handle situations like this worse and worse.
Like, since these allegations started coming out about so many big names, there have been complete bypasses, denials, non-apologies, and then there is THIS.
Honestly, somewhere Louis CK is wondering how Spacey f***ed this up so badly.

I was a fan of the guy’s work. But even before all this happened, I remember seeing him on Jimmy Kimmel, say around 5 years ago. He was promoting something, then started talking about some off-Broadway play he was doing. Then, real dismissively, he says something along the lines of “Not that any of these people would know anything about.” while gesturing to the audience. It was just something about the way he said it. Like he was joking but not joking. He just came across as an arrogant snob. And now he seems like a predatory arrogant snob. So he went to the WWE School of Heeling in addition to being an alleged sexual predator? Can't think of anyone in the WWE who could come up with a line that good...

CK at least owned his issues almost as soon as the allegations were made, even if the “i never did it without asking first” was far and away the most salient line in his post, and the one that got the least attention.

I thought we were on the same page so I’m not sure why you feel like that, but ok. To be clear I think CK is totally a scumbag. Gave him a modicum of credit for not trying to deny it, but felt his apology was BS because he excused himself with “I asked”.

No, the gag was supposed to be that CK handled it badly (only example I could think of off the top of my head, people have definitely done worse jobs but I couldn't remember any) and Spacey worse.

This kinda reminds me when Cosbys people posted a bunch of Cosby pictures and said "make the memes!" We all know how that turned out.

You just know some idiot in his management was like "Okay, we'll distract people from this bad news by having goofy, fun memes be made. What could go wrong?".

This kinda reminds me when Cosbys people posted a bunch of Cosby pictures and said "make the memes!" We all know how that turned out. When his first trial ended in a mistrial, Cosby greeted the reporters outside with Fat Albert's "HEY HEY HEY!". It was probably 75% "Has this old man lost his mind?" and 25% "I guess this creep thinks a mistrial equals not guilty and that he's in the clear". But the Spacey video is still WAY beyond that.

Addressing his "situation" in......in character, as the guy from House of Cards. His character's situations, technically. But he's definitely alluding to *ahem* something else. I think? www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZveA-NAIDII'm just posting this for public awareness. I'm not even embedding. This is just creepy as all hell but I think it needs to be seen to be believed.

I'm laughing, but I doubt that's the reaction he was looking for.
The idea of an Actor who had their character written/killed off on a show campaigning to have their brought back is pure comedy to me.
For some reason That Tennessee (?) accent makes this cringy video funnier.
Didn't dude just get hit with a felony case?!

On top of all the weirdness of it, what stands out is that he’s really off his game. He’s tense. It’s awkward. I don’t even watch HOC but that’s a rough take.

I thought this was going to be one of those videos that has 95% dislikes. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it doesn't.

I'm more disturbed that he found a crew that would take his money to shoot, edit, and post that.
