Morning? Afternoon? Night? Or are you the type of people who open presents on Christmas eve?

My wife and I are pretty non-traditional when it comes to Christmas. She and I don't exchange presents at all. We focus on our son instead. Rather than wrapping gifts, we slowly hand presents out to him throughout the day. This way everything gets a chance to get used and nothing gets lost in the shuffle. This year was primarily games for his Nintendo Switch so he had about an hour of game play on most of the ones he'd received.

I dunno. Whenever. Growing up my parents worked shift work, so it happened when it did, Xmas eve, the morning, mid morning. Today we did it at like 2 pm.

It all depends on the year. This year, my brother just gave me gifts when he bought them. My brother and I gave each other gift shortly after we bought them.

Stockings first followed by breakfast. Then comes our presents to the kids. Last is everyone else's presents to the family. We are generally done by 10 or 11 am.

Christmas Eve, big dinner with the family, presents afterwards. Then Christmas Day, with my best friend and his family, exchange gifts with them in the afternoon, hang out the rest of the day there.

Whenever I feel like it. I gave my wife her gift at the beginning of the month when it first arrived. Same goes for her gift to me.

morning
Even as an adult I couldn't go all day without unwrapping them. I love presents.
I've got a bonus present to unwrap after work today because it arrived late so I'm excited.
Even if it's something small like a chocolate bar I could get from the shop myself I enjoy them.

Xmas morning, unless someone gifts me on Christmas Eve and they really want to see my reaction when I open it.

When I was a kid, my immediate family started whenever the kids woke up Christmas day, usually between 7am and 9am. Then we'd go over to my grandmother's for the extended family celebration and gift exchange. Now my parents still like to wrap a couple things and leave them under their tree for me, but it's all very informal since its just us three, so whatever time Christmas day I feel like going over, or even the day after.

Usually morning after my parents woke up. There was a gift from my godfather which we opened on the Eve. Something which I do with my cousin's kid. Its like a good sandwich. You get something majorish, then the "Santa" gifts then the other relatives gifts when meeting them at their house or whereever we were going to go that afternoon.

It’s always been Christmas morning, but for whatever reason, we did it at like 3pm yesterday because we decided to do other stuff.
I was at my parents’ place, so they worked on dinner, while my sister, brother-in-law and I went to visit my grandmother.

We've always opened on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is basically just another day for my family. We get together for lunch or dinner and that's it.
