Trilogy of Terror. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Horror at 37,000 Feet. A hundred other Dan Curtis movies. Anyone here a fan of this weird little genre of time?

I try to deep dive into older horror when I get a chance. Cleaning out a house, I remember going through western VCR Tapes and finding one called Black Noon. It was the first Horror Western I ever saw.

Don't forget the Christmas classic that would be remade into cable TV a decade later, Tales From The Crypt:
I'm wondering if this is one of the reasons Zemeckis, Hill and Donner decided to move the final season to England.

One of Curtis' - Curse of the Black Widow - I remember having damn near the worst ever monster at the end. The giant spider looked like a balloon.

Killdozer. On a remote tropical island, a construction worker runs a bulldozer into a meteorite. An alien life force then possesses the 'dozer and it begins killing everyone on the island. I have loved this movie ever since I first saw it on TV back in 1974.

Was Wes Craven's Summer of Fear a 70s tv film. Or was it early 80s?

Terror on the 40th Floor. A cheap, made-for-TV version of The Towering Inferno.

The Savage Bees. A very fun little killer bee movie from 1976. Best part is the outlandish ending involving a Volkswagon beetle and the Superdome.

Anyone else see a made-for-TV movie called "Good Against Evil"? Broadcast in 1977, was supposed to lead into a series, I have it in one of those 50-in-1 DVD sets.

Of course, there's the big one by Dan Curtis that was so big, it got turned into a series: The Night Stalker.

Would “Duel” count?
I heard it was a TV movie, but I hear it may have been played in theatres in Europe.

I was first fascinated by the tv movie when I saw this comic book cover: Years ago on comic podcast forum I mentioned how I had been looking for a copy of That comic for close to 20 years. Next day another poster contacted me. Said he had a copy and I could have it. 2 weeks later I get in a package. With Killdozer and 20 other comics.
