Harlequin babies. Don't google that.
My ex used to get home before me in highschool, so she'd post a bunch of them on my MySpace wall so I'd have to delete it. She wasn't even my ex at the time, we were still dating.
I used to have a fear that if my hands or feet were in the water, a frog or fish would latch onto my fingers or toes with their mouths. Not even to bite me, just, to hold on. This would illicit a lot of panic in me.

I don't know how unusual it is but vast deep water seriously gives me the creeps.

I'm afraid of loud noises. Like, thunderstorms especially. I have to wear ear plugs when its thundering out side and bright flashes of lightning make me jump. It also ties in with my fear of tornadoes. Loud fire works scare me too. I couldn't go watch 4th of July fireworks shows as a kid because I would just scream the whole time.
I also have a fear of insects and creepy crawly things. I have to do regular inspections of my apartment to make sure there aren't beetles or house centipedes anywhere.

This only hit me now... but the OP is feartear. With a name like that, I can't help but think that person is taking notes... preparing for some hostile takeover of the forum.

Losing my teeth- I’ve had nightmares where my teeth have fallen out. I’ve always woken up shaking and feeling to make sure they’re still there. Think this goes back to having a horrible dentist when I was a kid. I’ve ended up brushing my teeth so hard that I have receding gums in the back of my mouth.
Horses- think because of their size, massive teeth and the fact I could die if they kicked me.

Pink Elephants on Parade. That's not an unusual fear. That's a perfectly normal fear...

Oooh, let's see.
One fear that I'm mostly over it: being in a mall when it's closing time. I remember as a kid being really uneasy when I end up in the mall near closing time. Most of the lights being switched off, the sound of the shutters of several stores going down, and in general the sudden quiet of the mall. First time it happened pretty much made me not want to be around any mall or store when it's near closing time.
Mirrors past midnight. Another one that no longer bothers me. I remember someone telling me that the devil or a demon shows up in the mirror if you look at it past midnight. I wasn't curious enough to check back then. Now it's just kinda horrifying at how old I look.
Being near pregnant women. Like, I worry about somehow tripping or falling or some other accidental body movement that might end up causing me to bump into a pregnant woman and causing damage.
Frogs and snails. Probably not puppy dog tails. In any case, they kinda look freaky, but for most part I'm okay with pictures. Not okay at all in having any sort of physical contact with them. So far I haven't, but my imagination is just telling me horrible things on how it might feel if those things manage to touch me.
The sea. I like documentaries about the deep sea. As I get older the less I want to go near it. I blame Waterworld.
Bathroom in the dark. It just feels weird to shower in the middle of the night in complete darkness. It's unsettling.

Been surrounded by tall buildings. I think it's called Bataphobia. The weird thing is I'm not scared of heights, when I'm on top of a building looking down on the others I'm fine, it's just when I'm at the bottom looking up at them...weird!

Going into a dark room turning the light on and I am facing a mirror. No idea why but if it happens I get chills.

Not sure how unusual this is, but as a kid, staring up at the sky made me a bit uneasy. I felt like if I stared too long i'd get sucked up into the sky and dropped. These days, one of my favorite ways to relax is to stare up at the sky and let my mind wander. So I've gotten over that little fear, I guess. Yeah, I’m having a hard time thinking of a weird fear but I definitely feel un-easy sometimes when I stare at the sky. Pretty sure it’s existential anxiety but still.

I don't get the bathroom one. I shower late at night a lot, but I, you know...turn the light on. Who showers in the dark?
