The WWF/E "home" arena for decades: Madison Square Garden. The names go on and on: Lou Thez, Bruno, Dusty, Hogan, Savage, Flair, 'Taker, Fujinami, Mil Mascaras, The Crush Gals, The Funks, Bret, Inoki....
Who are top guys, hell of any note, to not Wrestle in those hollowed halls?

Before we start listing every Japanese/Mexican legend of note, I think it's safe to assume if they never worked in the US for Vince, they didn't work the Garden.

Where's the cut off as far as greatest or best? Like, Bobby Eaton is one of the greats from the 80s. Did he wrestle in The Garden? Does he count?

The Paramount is not Madison Square Garden proper. It's part of the complex but it's actually next to/under the actual arena. and having been to the now "Hulu theater" that seems like a really bad venue for a wrestling show... Not the worst (it's not like the Westbury Music Fair where I saw an Impact House Show where guys were almost hitting the lights whenever they went for a suplex.) but probably not good.

Please tell me that they used to rotating stage at Westbury. Like not even on purpose, Josh Matthews accidentally turning it on halfway through a match and no one caring enough to fix it.

To be fair, the "Hulu Theater" was after an EXTENSIVE MASSIVE mid-aughts remodeling for when it first re-opened as the Nokia Theater, and then the Best Buy Theater. Like those big stairs to the side balcony, the rows of seats in the far back etc. It was a massive years-long reconstruction.

Yes, but something to consider in conjunction is that Vince's dad (and Vince himself early on in his run) brought in a LOT of one-shot/short-term MSG talent, including quite a few puro and lucha guys.

They did not. I kinda hoped they would have >_> But if you've been there you could imagine how adding a few feet up for a ring would interfere with the lighting rig. I was there most when it was just the Theater

Anyone remember what the attendance was for that WCW show? I remember a lot of the ads just stated MSG and made no mention that it was in the Paramount.
