Do they get along/respect each other? Seems like Punk has a soft spot for Vince, but hates Hunter. Any opinions?
*Soft spot = respect

Vince cried when Punk left. Vince also used to call Punk randomly at 4 in the morning just to chit chat.

One of the things people tend to comment on if they follow Vince's private schedule due to working close with him is how astonishingly little he seems to sleep.

IIRC his routine is something along the lines of bed at midnight-1am, wake around 4am, and be in the gym by 4:30. I would say that's really not healthy, but the man is 72, built like a statue, with decades of steroid use and at least a few years of coke use in the 80s, hasn't had any health issues that we know of, and will probably outlive us all, so what do I know?

Any opinions? *Soft spot = respect Punk has made it perfectly clear on many occasions that he doesn't hate Vince and respects him. I wouldn't be surprised if they still talk to each other and perhaps Vince is still trying to be that bridge of peace between Punk and Hunter.

It's kinda like how Bruno had a close working relationship with Vince Sr. but eventually had a falling out with Jr. The only difference is, Sr. wasn't around to help repair the relationship sooner, so here's hoping it doesn't take Punk and Hunter/Steph 25 years to make peace.

He might just be one of those people who is wired to sleep minimally with very little repercussions. It also could just be habit since he's been a workaholic all of his adult life. Either way, more power to him. He's had no major health issues we are aware of and seemingly doesn't get sick ("There is no sick, pal."). If I had a schedule like he's had, I'd probably have a physical or mental breakdown around week two.

What is the exact issue between Punk and HHH? Have either spoken out and said "I don't like X because Y"? Or is this just speculation from HHH winning their match in 2011.

On the now-infamous podcast Punk accused HHH of ruining the Summer of Punk storyline and making it about himself, as well as being responsible for Punk being fired on his wedding day.

It's not like HHH to insert himself into a storyline involving the company's most popular star. You have genuinely shocked me sir. 😉

Thatcher had a similar sleep pattern well into her 60s when she was Prime Minister. In fact a lot of people in high profile jobs tend to survive on little sleep. I think it has to do with quality of sleep. Someone working an average job with average demands probably don't exercise themselves enough mentally for the body to require much sleep, therefore the sleep they/we get is probably predominately light sleep. If you're running a company/country I imagine you expend a lot more mental/emotional energy during the day therefore when they do go to sleep it's probably a better quality of sleep than everyone else gets as the body and mind have been exerted to an extent that it recognises the need for a complete switch off. The same probably applied if you look back at some of the mainly defunct hard, manual jobs at past economies where men (predominately) would have to get up before dawn had even broken to travel to the mines or the pits or the shipyard. They probably weren't coming in and going to sleep at 8pm at night to fit in their 8 hour quota but the physical exertion probably meant that the sleep they had was of a better quality.

I think it's more like your body on peak tiredness is more capable of dropping straight into REM sleep, the kind you need more, the more tired you are. So Thatcher and McMahon maybe only sleep/slept those four hours but it is straight into the sleep we don't get until we're out a few hours.

I also think Hunter was pretty insulted that Punk wanted nothing to do with Hunter at WM.

I also think Hunter was pretty insulted that Punk wanted nothing to do with Hunter at WM. It probably hurt his ego pretty bad that Punk didn't want to face, at WrestleMania, The Game, King of Kings, the be all end all, best of the best, Mr wrestling, blah, blzh.

We went from Punk's contract expiring and walking out with the title to only a few weeks later: Nash and Triple H going to a lovers quarrel. Absolute garbage, he completely stole the spotlight from him. While Punk was in a battle royal for a title shot by October. I totally understand why so many people walked away from the product at this time.

I've read about training your body to take 20 min naps every 2 hours so that when you sleep you instantly go into REM sleep. They say if you do you can get by with 2-4 hours of sleep after that. If you do not literally go crazy or have major health problems from the lack of sufficient REM until your body is trained.
