The post-John K Ren and Stimpy episodes did have some funny episodes like House of Next Tuesday and Stimpy's Cartoon Show (Wilbur Cobb's rambling monologue still cracks me up to this day). This, so much. “Walter Lantz! No account son of a bus driver!” Gyp Rosetti in Season Three of Boardwalk Empire was the most badass villain the show ever had. Dr. Narcisse in Season Four wasn’t bad either, it was that final fifth where the show unraveled.

Red Dwarf VII - the show never looked better before or since, and the early episodes were amongst the best in the entire run. That was the series with Tikka to Ride. The episode where they go back in time, accidentally prevent the JFK assassination, and fix it by having JFK assassinated.....by JFK. I loved that episode. I love quoting it. So Series VII is good in my book.

Brittas Empire post-Fegen/Norriss, post-Laura still had many good episodes.
"Laverne, Where's Shirley?" aka season 8 of L&S did have the Death Row episodes.

Rimmer: "One minute you're down, the next you're right back up again."

As unwatchably awful as the Robert California season of 'The Office' was, Gabe really came into his own and stole several episodes, and the new Dunder Mifflin Warehouse employees were all refreshing and hilarious.

Survivor: Thailand is generally considered the first real dud of the Survivor franchise, and there are several valid reasons for that (boring gameplay, sexual assault, the winner is a legit scumbag, etc.), but it does at least feature a badass final immunity challenge and an awe-inspiring Tribal Council set.

New York Undercover, season 4: A lot of people bash this season as the show took on a different direction, as it was more at the behest of the network. Though I prefer the previous three seasons, I really did not mind the fourth season of this show. Yes, it felt different, but if an episode were on, I wouldn't change it.

Buffy Season 6 has "Once More, with Feeling", literally the only nice thing I can say about it. Don't forget Dark Willow

Star Trek Enterprise first two seasons were no better or worse than the first two of any of the revival Trek series, seriously, the beginning of TNG was flat out tedious in places. The third season showed signs it was going to find itself, unfortunately it was cancelled before it managed that feat.

I'm going to disagree with that on a couple of points - I'd argue TNG season 2 is better than the first two of Enterprise (it still has a LOT of terrible episodes, don't get me wrong, but there are also a couple of really good ones in there and the show is usually at least watchable) and I wouldn't say the first couple of seasons of DS9 are really bad at all. Not anything stellar, but a far cry from how abysmal season one of TNG is.

Buffy season 6. Other than Buffy raising from the grave, it was a steaming pile of shit.
Final season of that 70s show. Randy made me appreciate just how important Topher Grace was for the series. I understood the importance of the straight man and how that character grounds the series. Lol Topher thought Spider-Man 3 was gonna make him a movie star.
Bitch in apartment 23. Krysten Ritter ‘nuff said.

I enjoy the first two seasons of South Park a lot more than what a lot of people consider their peak (4-8 or 9).
Less preachy, and I prefer Cartman as a little prick who still has an innocence to him over the murderous sociopath he became.

I didn't know how good Zach Woods could be until I saw him in some other stuff. He had his moments as Gabe, but there was so much untapped potential there.

Yeah, oddly despite Robert being so terrible, the rest of the cast really got a chance to shine in his darkness.
