Anybody remember this UK indy show? I went live and it was my first wrestling show.
Card was
Chris Sabin vs Petey Williams vs Spud (Drake Maverick) vs Johnny Storm
Steve Grey vs Mal Sanders - World of Sport match
Misawa, Ogawa and Tiger Emperor vs Doug Williams, Scorpio and James Tighe
CM Punk vs Samoa Joe
Raven vs Alex Shane
AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels
Looking back I was incredibly lucky to see all these guys on one show.

I've never seen it, but that's a pretty impressive lineup.

It was the first show I ever went to. Was only a bit aware of Japanese wrestling, but I knew Misawa being there was a big deal. Got his autograph somewhere.
Bill apter was there and was deeply lovable.
CM Punk was there and was a creepy, leery dickhead. This was after the first couple of Punk-Joe matches and a I don’t think it lived up to those matches.
I was a massive Raven fan so seeing him was badass. He andShane did a spot where Raven threw him off the seating area into a crowd. Foley was at the show doing interviews and got involved. (my mum gave me a lift to the show. I was 16 and my parents had literally just split so it was all very awkward. She was left in Coventry by herself with nothing to do but dwell while I went to the show, which I felt horrendously guilty about. The one good point from this was my mum looking at Foley and going, ‘Ooo he’s a handsome chap.’)
Nikita/Katie Lea Burchill was at the show, and was gorgeous. Got very tongue tied around her.
Daniels had just won the X Championship, so I was bummed as that meant he was going to beat my guy AJ. However, they had the best match on the card for me and helped further cement my love for Daniels which has endured to this day.
Overall, I’ve seen better shows live since (thank you New Japan Altrincham), but this was really fun and a nice, friendly first event for me.
