The NFC Playoffs IMHO just got a lot less fun..... I don't hate the Eagles, but I'm not digging these matchups.

The lambasting the Saints put on the Eagles 2 months ago led to the champs finally getting a fire lit under their ass and making the late season run, and the Saints have to deal with Big Dick Nick this time instead of Wentz as a new variable.

The last time the Patriots made it to the playoffs and failed to reach the Conference Championship was when they lost to the Jets back in 2011.
I guarantee you this statement will still be true once the final whistle blows in the Chargers/Patriots game.

Dallas/Saints and Bears/Rams would have been better.

Looked back at page 1....went 3/4 on these. I was wrong about the Ravens though. Personally I would have put Flacco in at the half in that one, but I guess Harbaugh didn't want some sort of controversy going forward?
Some were high on the Bears, but I just didn't know. Something was missing there (a kicker, heh). Or just inconsistent offense. That said, enough of the Eagles now. This should be Brees making one last big run to the Super Bowl, not the Eagles playing 2011 NY Giants as this 9-7 jabroni team that starts pulling upsets all over the place. I hadn't considered Chargers/Saints as a Super Bowl, but it does have the interesting storyline of Brees against his former team and the QB who replaced him in Rivers.

Well I'm petrified for my Chiefs next week against Indy. They beat us every time in the playoffs. Hoping Mahomes can break the trend. Go KC!

When the Patriots win the SB, Bama doesn't win the national title.
When Bama wins the national title, the Pats do not win the SB.
So the AFC fate might be in Clemson's hands.

Indy is the worst possible matchup for the Chiefs Gonna disagree with this. The worst matchup for the Chiefs are those old school teams like the Ravens. Indy is very basic on defense they sit in a cover 2 shell for about 85% of games. That is fine when you face weak competition like Watson who doesn't have the velocity or brains to deal with zone coverage. If you do that with Mahomes he will kick the shit out of you. Yea they'll give up yards and points...but that'll happen against every team. The Colts have made every TE look like an all pro...what does that make the all pro TE look like against them? Unless something vastly changes I don't see the Colts doing much to stop all those receivers, Watkins is suppose to return making it all that much more difficult. At home the Chiefs likely grab a few stops and pull this one out because well in the post season the best QB usually wins.

This one is going to be a shootout, and Kansas City has lost 3 of those, all to playoff teams. Add to that the fact they played mediocre down the stretch and are up against a red hot Colts team, and I think an upset is very possible

Am I the only one not digging the NFC games next week? Yes. Rams/Cowboys should be a fun one to watch. Saints/Eagles should be interesting as well. I'm hoping for Brees to go Ultra Instinct on the Eagles.
