And then you notice what the header picture of the WWE Twitter page actually is in the screen cap. I mean, I understand the point you’re trying to make, but it’s a bit funny when it’s built around “There’s over 10 million people seeing these tweets not featuring racial minority talents” and you see a bigger picture of their Japanese women’s champion right at the top. That's actually reinforcing the point we're making given that moment itself wasn't included when they named 4 things that proved women were "doing it big in 2018" and yet they didn't include one of the top 5 biggest things they've done this year. It's easy to change a header to the last thing that the previous ppv showed, when it comes to naming things well, you see what happened.

Tye's apparently retweeting the All Elite official announcement tweets, so thinking I may have been right on this one. Yeah, that place is full of offensive people. This place is full of offended people. I wish there was a happy medium. The medium is not being a condesending asshat, like you're being right now. Knock it off guys. Both of ya.

I think the lexicon will eventually go from, 'they're shootin', brother!' to 'they're tweetin', brother!'

Tye Dillinger just reeks of being the new Damien Sandow on the independents.

Tye Dillinger just reeks of being the new Damien Sandow on the independents. He's going to do a homophobic gimmick that kills his career stone dead?

Nia Jax is ALWAYS whining about something. Always. The ONLY person who should have any issue with that WWE tweet is Asuka, and she is probably too busy being awesome to care. Exactly. I swear every other week I come on here and see a new thread about Nia Jax whining. This one is especially stupid. She's pushed constantly despite being a walking disaster for her opponents, but she wants to call out the company on racial prejudice over a picture on social media? I didn't see Carmella or the IIconics getting two separate PPV programs with Ronda Rousey.

I'm tired of every time someone of color feels slighted they feel the need to make it about race. I would have replaced The IIconics with Asuka if it were me, but that's just based on what she did in 2018 compared to Peyton and Billie. Nia has every right to be pissed not being included in the picture, but she could have handled it much better than she did. For example, she could have tweeted this:
How quickly people forget about me beating Alexa at Mania and destroying Becky's face with ONE PUNCH. I'll make sure NO ONE forgets Nia Jax in 2019!
No mention of race AND you put yourself over for what you did in 2018.

Nia's point would've been more valid coming from pretty much any other woman of color on the roster, whether that's Asuka, Naomi, Ember, Sasha, Bayley, or whoever. Having a woman who is employed and pushed solely due to a combo of nepotism and having an unconventional body type complain about a lack of proper representation (in a Twitter picture of all things) is laughable IMO.

There is a very strange dynamic going on here where people assume Dillinger made the comment outside kayfabe, and then they recruit kayfabe things to attack Dillinger with. I'm not sure what to say about it, but it's odd.

I'm not sure what to say about it, but it's odd. It's just saying that Tye is a jobber, and barely on TV, because he's not very good. The problem with that is it assumes that WWE decides the people to push based on merit. We all know they don't. You could disagree with Tye's flippant tone here, and that's where I'm leaning, without taking the extra step of saying he has no value. He certainly does.

It's not like there's decades of racially-motivated discrimination in professional workplaces, especially pro wrestling, that continues to go on to this day.
Oh wait.

My thoughts on this-
Nia isn't necessarily begging for herself to be added, and she has a valid point.
Tye missed that point, but he's right; Nia's buns at wrestling.
Edit- I hope Tye burning bridges (this and retweeting AEW stuff) doesn't hurt Peyton's stock backstage.
I understand his frustration with not being used, but quite frankly, IMO, Tye's a middle of the road in-ring performer who didn't make a splash on the indies the first time he was released and was lucky he got resigned by WWE and even made it this far.
If he hits the indies for a second round, even with a little more popularity than round one (he's had action figures, shirts, and got in some of the video games, more than some "jobbers" can say"), I think he will fall flat. For every Cody, Juice, and Drew, there's an Adam Rose, a Sandow, and THE BIG GUY.

And yeah, Nia Jax is hot garbage. I won't argue that. That also doesn't cancel out her valid point especially when she had one of the most iconic moments for women's wrestling in 2018 in winning her division's championship at Wrestlemania. And her point also wasn't just going in business for herself, but also for the other women of color on the roster like Asuka, Banks, Bayley, etc.
