There is a very strange dynamic going on here where people assume Dillinger made the comment outside kayfabe, and then they recruit kayfabe things to attack Dillinger with. I'm not sure what to say about it, but it's odd. People working themself into a shoot, brother.

The best part about this. Is that image was most likely photoshopped in 15 minutes by a 18 year old intern that just wanted to get it done, so they could go home for the holidays.

I'm tired of every time someone of color feels slighted they feel the need to make it about race. I would have replaced The IIconics with Asuka if it were me, but that's just based on what she did in 2018 compared to Peyton and Billie. Nia has every right to be pissed not being included in the picture, but she could have handled it much better than she did. For example, she could have tweeted this: How quickly people forget about me beating Alexa at Mania and destroying Becky's face with ONE PUNCH. I'll make sure NO ONE forgets Nia Jax in 2019! No mention of race AND you put yourself over for what you did in 2018. Yeah! It's not like there's decades of racially-motivated discrimination in professional workplaces, especially pro wrestling, that continues to go on to this day. Oh wait.
There is. People get discriminated against for various reasons in all areas of life. I think having a woman of "color" omitted from a tweet doesn't amount to a hill of shit in the grand scheme of things.

I don't like Nia...like at all. But she has a point.

Sometimes the little things should be called out too. Hell, it's easier to address the little things than it is to address huge systemic issues, and easier to make people who aren't just raving hatemongers aware of stuff like "Hey that tweet's looking a little bit white" than it is to actually change the hearts and minds of people who want to bring lynching back.

That's what I'm afraid of, looking at tweets, commercials, billboards, etc...... through a racial lens and creating a problem (like this one) when there probably wasn't any to begin with.

For people who see a surface level world they're not really a part of, there's already a problem. Whether or not you choose to understand the point behind representation is is your own decision, but that doesn't mean someone's looking at the world going "Okay but how can I make this about racism?" when they see problems you don't.

If you're Asuka are you thinking to yourself "I'm the first ever women's Royal Rumble winner and I beat two of the best women in the company to win the Smackdown championship. But it's all for nothing as I wasn't featured in a WWE.com end of the year tweet"

I thought to myself "Why is this thread so big?" and then I read a page and realized it's this shit again.
