Flair, Arn and all them one one side
Macho Man on no ones side being constantly paranoid
I almost wish it would have happened for the drama that would have been non stop

I have to wonder what Shawn would have done. For one thing, he'd have probably made more money, but he wouldn't have been THE guy there for any length of time. Beyond that, it's not like Nash and Hall hadn't already buddied up with Hogan, so I don't know if Shawn could have counted on them to be in his power base fully, given I think both guys were probably a bit worn out on that.
I could picture Shawn being the guy who gets canned or sent to rehab for Eric to try to make an example out of him. I'm sure Vince would have taken him back, but he would have lost trust in him, so it wouldn't have been the same. Triple H probably would have got a main event push a bit sooner in the vacuum, since even with everyone else on the other team, I think he intended to be a WWF lifer pretty early on.

There may have been drama but I don’t think Michaels would have gotten his way too often there. Hall and Nash probably would’ve stuck up for him at times but Vince wouldn’t be there to protect him. I’m not sure WCW would’ve realized his potential either. Look how they handled Bret Hart. Michaels would have probably had to go back to feuding with Scott Hall to have stand out matches. As much as I would’ve liked to see him against Benoit, Malenko and Guerrero I don’t think his ego at the time would be happy working with guys that were more or less mid card level back then.

Shawn would be in for a rude awakening were he to try his crap on Hogan, Shawn had Vince's ear but Vince didn't run WCW, Bischoff did, and Hogan had it written into his contract that what he said was law. The fingerpoke happened because Nash hadn't the sway backstage to avoid jobbing to Hogan and he had the book at the time.

Like everyone at that time, the amount of backstage influence Michaels had would have been dependent on what Hogan was comfortable with him having. So there really wouldn't have been that much drama.

No real drama.
Hulk Hogan is the master politician and the biggest name in the industry at that point. See what happened when Shawn tried to politic a win over Hogan at Summerslam 05.
He'd have lost support as Hall and Nash would have gone with the money.
If he ran his mouth too much, Scott Steiner or Meng would have lamped him.

Shawn may have been an awful pill-popping nightmare douche, but he wasn't an idiot. No way he would have jumped to WCW without some firm guarantees in writing about what he would and wouldn't be doing, and against whom. I think Bischoff would have given Shawn the moon to screw over Vince, and then paid a huge price for it once Shawn got to Atlanta. Sketchy injuries, lost smiles, quasi-shoot comments on live TV, last-minute PPV changes ... I bet there would have been a decent amount of that.

We might have gotten the Summerslam 2005 main event in 1996/97 and it would have been a glorious disaster.
Imagine the overselling hissy-fit HBK threw in 05 and think, this would be the pre religious conversion HBK, before he softened up/lightened up, and in a promotion with nobody in control to stop him from making as big of an ass out of himself as he wanted to.

I'm thinking HHH makes the jump with him, especially if its before DX happening or in their very early days before they took off. He might have been worried about the WWF midcard scene given the troubles Mero, Goldust and Jarrett were having getting over and how Foley was having to kill himself to get pops (midcarders being over is one of the AE's most saving graces, they came out to crickets before that). Also HHH has Shawn's babysitter, he might have felt an obligation to be around to help his mentor get from A to B and basically stay alive.
HHH makes it to the main event during WCW's dying days and gets the type of title runs that Booker T and Jarrett got, returns to the WWE for the invasion in kind of a Booker T role. Steph marries someone else and maybe moves away from the business and on a darker note Regal never gets clean.

Everytime Shawn tried to bitch or start something, a simple phrase would’ve derailed it, “that doesn’t works for me brother”, just like when Hogan said that to get HBK to job in 2005.
Also as mentioned on another thread, HBK probably od’s and dies during that time in the clusterf*** atmosphere and party scene of wcw.

As for Career wise. Look what they did with Bret Hart. He only got the belt when Hogan took a sabbatical, Shawn would be the same.

I don't think Bret would have left WWF. Vince would have thrown every cent to keep him if Shawn left, which means no screwjib, which means no evil Vince.
