Honestly everything about Lesnar / Rollins sounds absolutely f***ing horrible to me. The idea of Seth Rollins trying to do a promo against Paul Heyman is as hilarious as it is horrifying to me. "Seth, we need you to look like a good guy out there, can you do that?" "Sure, sure, I've got this. -RAW that Night- "Face me, or I'll call in a bomb threat, and kill Paul Heyman's children! Yeah! It'll be painful and drawn out, too!"

Do Lesnar vs Balor at WM. Sullivan attacks Strowman at the Rumble. There’s Your WM match. Yeah if they're keeping the belt on Lesnar this is the match I want. Demon vs. Beast, Balor finally gets his rematch, it's a fresh match, Lesnar's matches with smaller guys bumping like crazy for him are usually good. It works all around. I'm half expecting that Lesnar will put Balor over if the match occurred. I think WWE's been deliberately protecting Finn from facing the Beast up to this point precisely because a loss would raise questions about whether Finn should have had the title even for the 22 hours he'd held it the first time, diminishing greatly his drawing power and merch movement. One can argue it took a tumble when he went up against Roman Reigns and took a loss. There is also, now, the elephant that is AEW that's just been parachuted into the living room. A loss for Finn would make the voices for him to leave WWE for potentially greener pastures far louder; Prince Devitt at the top of an AEW card could be the opening salvo in a new early-week TV war and open the floodgates for WWE's number 14's and others to explore their options. I believe that he can be built up as a champion once it's back around his waist or over his shoulder; it's not only possible but highly desirable and quite possibly necessary to create stability on the card, restore meaning to Raw for many of WWE's fans and open up the booking team to create other feuds and arcs and deepen the value of the product. He may be boring now for some, but that can easily change with a push and the right packaging. WWE needs someone they can believe will win against Lesnar. The options are few in number, fewer in credibility and even fewer in desirability. WWE is having a 1992 moment and its Bret Hart may well be Finn Balor.

Do Lesnar vs Balor at WM. Sullivan attacks Strowman at the Rumble. There’s Your WM match. I honestly forgot about Lars Sullivan and thought you meant Kevin Sullivan, so I just imagined Braun Strowman vs The Dungeon of Doom aka The Alliance to end Handmania.

I don’t want Seth vs Brock and I don’t think WWE does either. I think they might have Braun take the belt and do Braun/Mcyntire for the UC. As good as a match that would be, I cant see that really being a main event match for WM (unless they go with having Ronda vs Charlotte and/or Becky be the main event).

Rollins/Lesnar works if Rollins cuts less promos, always has this edge to him and if he's just all about being the dude. The thing with Lesnar these days is that he's never on the show, he sucks, he's got a guy cutting his promos, yada yada. Rollins needs to be the guy who's there day in and day out wrestling well, doesn't need someone to cut promos for him, just less promos in general because it's not about promos just be the other side of the coin and it'll work. The problem is that they're basically giving him the Roman Reigns template in that he's cutting all these promos on the guy getting mad rather than just being the guy who goes in and does stuff. We don't need to hear Rollins cut another promo on Lesnar, we don't. We don't want to hear Rollins whine about Lesnar not being champion. We need to see him doing it in the ring day in and day out proving he needs to be the champion with his actions. We need to see Rollins in and ring and think "man, he'd be a great champion."
And honestly say they do try a Rollins/Heyman promo, shit. After that stuff he said about Louis CK's "joke", dude might go too far. Keep him away from a mic if he's supposed to be angry.

I wish I was exaggerating more, but given that one promo where he asked what would happen if he showed up at Triple H's house and one of their kids answered, and Steph just looked aghast and the audience was just baffled before audibly abandoning Seth, this isn't really even THAT out there for him.

They did this for years with Undertaker. Book a schmozz/non-finish with Braun getting screwed. Braun doesn’t need to and absolutely should not take a clean pin for a loss. Braun has failed in 6 previous attempts at the Fruit Roll Up. If he fails against The Beast Incarnate again, he is done as a top guy. Doesn't matter if Strowman gets screwed at RR, because the dude could have had a fair fight against Brock when he had the briefcase (and don't forget, he promised to cash in on Lesnar the moment he showed up on Raw, and he didn't).

I don't even remember this, but that's probably for a reason. It was, on looking it up, January 30th, 2017. It was before Seth had really gotten a handle on being a face for promos. Presumably, his point was more that he'd beat up Triple H in front of his kids, but it really just accidentally sounded like he was going to kick the shit out of Hunter's daughters. Scripted promos can be really overly sterile, but letting guys adlib sometimes gets you "did not think this through" material like that.

He's lucky to have rebounded from something that awful. EDIT: Apparently WWE didn't think it was that bad, the line is still intact on their YouTube channel:

I forget if it was Finn or Nak, but one of them have stated that they’re comfortable performing in the WWE due to the money and environment. Maybe that’ll change, maybe that’s PR, but one of them have stated that they have no reason to leave as they did all they could in Japan. I think it's applicable to both, actually: Nak because of his age and the ceiling he hit in New Japan, Finn because WWE has always been his career goal. That said, in the time it took for Finn to come to WWE (much of that, albeit, by his own choice), he had become of such great value as a talent and a worker that WWE's current use of him is widely seen as a waste, and is a strong point of criticism against a creative team who has the mystifying tendency of dumping soil on a diamond. It is difficult for fans to comprehend why Finn has only held one title in WWE since his debut (plus his NXT title reign), can't seem to get into any title picture, and can't even get a "proper" push. Fergal Devitt has kept the fans at bay through his PR stuff and his social media presence, but I'm not sure how long even he can appease a crowd that's losing its patience with his booking. That's where the calls for him to go back to NJPW come from, or to jump to AEW.
