Latest watch
Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man - interview talking heads including Cohen himself interspersed with concert of others performing his songs, I'm a huge fan of Cohen so bias but none are as good as his versions but there is still some good performances there.

Most recent viewing and the 45th film I have watched this month was CANDLESHOE
Disney family movie from the 70s with Jodie Foster and David Niven, found it enjoyable and charming.

6. Bad Times at the El Royale (Hold the cheese)
If you’re into movies like The Hateful Eight or Pulp Fiction you’ll enjoy this one. Lots of interesting characters with swerves and bits and pieces of details that reveal the story throughout. I really enjoyed it.

Watched Philomena, it would be against the board rules on religion etc to go in to it, but I couldn't help feel anger that things like what sets off the story where allowed to happen.

1. The bye bye man.
Some horror I found on Netflix. It's ok. Wouldn't watch again though.

The Kid Who Would Be King.
Best movie I’ve seen this year.
The fact it’s the only movie I’ve seen this year is irrelevant

12. House of 1000 Corpses. Wow. That movie was f***ed up. I like f***ed up shit so I enjoyed it but I can see why this movie almost killed Rob Zombies movie career right out of the gate. Mainstream audiences weren’t prepared for this stuff. Not just the violence or subject material. The f***ed up, acid trip filming is a lot to take in. It was like a ninty minute long episode of one of those f***ed up MTV shorts that they played after midnight twenty years ago. But Zombie had a vision and I think he realized it.

13. Angry Birds: the Movie. It was a war between my kids between this, Trolls, Big Hero 6 and some Netflix movie called Gnome Alone. This won, I was gonna lose no matter what.
This movie came out what?, five years after it mattered?

My 47th movie of the month was Isle Of Dogs, directed by Wes Anderson.
Honestly not sure what I think about it yet, sometimes I get films like that

14. Contamination (possibly Alien Contamination). f***ing awesome at the beginning but gets pretty bad as it goes on. Great gore but it was hard to see because of the horrible video quality (I was watching a YouTube rip of the movie, other screen shots I found online looked much better. That made it really good though. And you wanna talk creepy; the humming sound when the eggs are about to explode. Jeepers.

15. Tank 432. This keeps popping up on my Netflix recommendations so I decided to finally watch it. I think it’s a sequel to a movie I never saw. Or part of a franchise I’m unaware of. Or it’s just a movie that never bothered explaining itself. Ambiguity is fine but I had no idea what was going on in this movie aside from they were in a tank. There was also orange powder. And the pooping scene. It had a good score but this was one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a while. Avoid, unless you want to be able to tell your friends you just saw one of the worst movies you’ve seen in your life.
