She looks great and is decent enough both on the mic and the ring. Also she's more believable and imposing in the ring then the other "divaish" women that have been pushed like Alexa and Carmella. Unlike those two she looks like she could actually hurt you and do some damage when she delivers a blow or does a move. I think the bigger question is why has it taken them so long to push her? She was called up too soon, which I don't hold against her, but she's been improving since her debut. Still needs some more work on the in ring stuff, but she's not the disaster she's made out to be IMO. And she's a good talker, but I don't know why they. have. her. talk. like. this. I agree but I'm just saying it is very unlike them with how they've gone about using Mandy. Usually when they have a pet project who checks all the boxes for them they usually push them straight to the moon even if they aren't ready. For example they were apparently going to put the Smackdown Women's title on Eva Marie before she got suspended and then fired even though she had absolutely no talent to speak of. So the fact that they made someone like Mandy "pay her dues" despite actually having some potential to go with her look, is very surprising. I like that they've taken their time with her to make sure she's ready but it is very uncharacteristic of them

I want to think that Sonya is taking the pictures for Mandy, feeling a bit awkward because the pictures aren't for her. They're grafter, they'll be ok.

Going back to the OP, what exactly would Mandy be ripping off from Scarlett that is exclusively hers? Arrogant hot girl who manipulates people with beauty isn't exactly exclusive to her either.

”I’m willing to accept that a guy using a fake name has magical powers or another guy using a fake name is an undead zombie or a lady using a fake name calling herself a boss when I know she’s an independent contractor at best but I will not can not accept 2 people playing characters using fake names pretending to be in a relationship when their not in real-life that’s just insults my intelligence too much.” -Quote from a random member of the ISEC At its core WWE is people pretending to fight for a living in predetermined battles scripted by a crazy old man and his 85 writers if we’re willing to accept that then is it really that big of a stretch that these pretend characters might be pretend interested in eachother on a pretend show? There’s a lot of ridiculous things in wwe we just accept even though there not real just to name a few: A mayor from Tennessee named Glen as a Demon from Hell thats brothers with an undead zombie who’s really a guy named Mark from Texas. A guy named Tom pretending to be a GM named Baron. A dude named Adam pretending to be a monster named Braun Strowman. A grown woman named Pam pretending to be a child named Bayley. A dude named Colby pretending to be an architect/arsonist named Seth. A dude named Joe playing a Dog named Roman. I'm not sure why you decided to make 2 different posts on this point but when WWE have another show featuring the real life relationships of these women that has been heavily featured on RAW and SD then, yes, it contradicts itself.

I feel the same way when people called Laycool a rip off of the Beautiful People. The gimmicks are staples of wrestling that have been done hundreds of times before either of them

I think the storyline is awkward, because I don't think trying to get someone to cheat (even though it's not real), is not good taste, for a family friendly product. I don't condone cheating, so it wouldn't be an idea I would have, for a storyline. I don't condone cheating either but it's the heel doing a bad thing. that is the whole point I do condone cheating. Win if you can, Lose if you must, BUT ALWAYS CHEAT!.

I'm not sure why you decided to make 2 different posts on this point but when WWE have another show featuring the real life relationships of these women that has been heavily featured on RAW and SD then, yes, it contradicts itself. I’m guessing you’ve never watched total divas cause it’s it’s own weird universe that doesn’t really play into wwe storylines it creates its own and even making fun of WWE storylines and everyone’s the best of friends even the people who are feuding on wwe tv like when the Bellas feuded and are best buds on TD even making fun of Nikki telling Brie she wished she died in the womb or Nikki & Nattie going out to lunch having a great time while clips of them calling eachother horrible names and brawling on wwe tv or Maryse & The Bellas reconciling while their feuding at wrestlemania. For the 1st 3 years Nikki’s the biggest babyface on the show dating cena while on wwe tv she’s the top heel and has nothing to do with Cena. The Show is made for women who aren’t fans of wwe but love reality show as they’ll have made up storylines on the show that air 6 to 9 months after the fact claiming stars of the show are getting fired or quitting wwe that by the time it airs it’s never mentioned on wwe tv and the person has been on Raw or SD the whole time. The main purpose of the show seems for the producers to put the women in zany sitcom scenes outside of wrestling like: Nattie inviting her friends and family over for a big feast but forgetting to get the food and Titus O’Neil shows up with food to save the day.Meanwhile Lana who was babysitting Nattie’s parents decides to get drunk with them. Nattie thinks her and TJ sex life is boring and needs spicing up so they decided to role play and TJ dresses as a burglar and comically breaks into his own house to bang his wife. Nia sets Paige up with her brother but they hate eachother and Nia is oblivious and wants them to have babies. Paige and Lana randomly hate eachother for an episode until the end where the have a heart to heart conversation and smooth things over. Lana shows up to Nia’s house and randomly decides to dye her hair without asking in Nia’s white bathroom staining everything then Lana gets naked and takes a shower while a camera crew films her.

Watch it being Jey Uso as the one who is actually getting these things. Mandy thinks she is sending it to Jimmy but it’s really Jey who is seeing and getting them. That would be a great way for this to end... Sonya: Uh... Mandy you're sending these to Jey. Mandy: Yeah, J. Uso... like Jimmy. Naomi: "It's ... it's Jey." Mandy: " No! He had a ring on!" Jey: "Oh yeah, I wear it to make women think they can't have me. You have NO IDEA how well it works!"

All I know is I want sexually awkward Mandy Rose to be a thing.
They should keep up the whole “steamy” entrance thing but have Mandy fail miserably at being seductive/acting sexy. It would get her over massive, bro.

Jey’s gotta be like “Man, I gotta get my own Twitter... at least once Mandy stops sliding into our DMs”.

That would be some Hater of the Year shit if Mandy wasn't being such a hussy.

I think the curious thing with me and this storyline is that it does feel like a sort of throwback storyline to if not the Attitude Era, then the pre-Women's Revolution days. I mean, I watch Young and the Restless so it's not like I have some issue against cheating storylines and if this leads to Mandy Rose having decent matches, then it pays off. Just weird to me that the WWE has been really gung ho about women empowerment when this at least clashes with it a bit with reverting to a very stereotypical heel diva role. Though WWE being hypocritical about its messaging isn't exactly new either.

I think that on the whole, the problem was that in the past this was basically the only type of woman's feud we'd really get.
Now that we've had a good long breather, and a variety of different feuds since the Women's Revolution era, then it seems more acceptable to fling this into the mix again.

Isn’t this the same storyline that happened with Dawn Marie-Miss Jackie-Charlie Haas in 2004, Dawn implying Charlie was with her but Charlie was still playing that he was faithful... until he refereed some random PPV match and admited he was cheating all along and then it was dropped and they all randomly disappeared and did nothing else?
