Poor Johnny. The madlad being played like a fiddle by the puppet master himself. Curious to see where this all goes. Could lead to Gargano winning the North American title with DIY dominanting NXT. Could lead to Gargano losing the match, snapping, and going further down the dark side, could lead to Candice leaving Johnny after winning or losing said championship match and finally redeeming himself. The stupidest thing will be if Candice turns out to be evil.

LeRae's having such a weird f***ing run for all the hype she came in with.

As another poster said, all she’s done, aside from being Mrs. Gargano (which isn’t a slight aimed at her, just how she’s been presented on NXT TV), is lose a lot.

I find Candice's character arc could be a really compelling to watch unfold. We've seen plenty of times where a husband/wife is stuck under the shadow of the more successful partner, but it's pretty unique that it's only happening to Candice specifically because of the Gargano vs. Ciampa rivalry. The problem is, this angle has become so drawn out and needlessly convoluted that the logical end game for Candice soaring in the Women's division once it concludes seems like it's never going to happen because the DIY rivalry will never ever truly end.

So do you think Bianca is undefeated or overrated? Personally, I was hoping either Io or if she wasn't injured, Dakota would get the next title shot. Let's just see how the match goes, Bianca isn't a bad wrestler and Shayna isn't the worst. I do think she's definitely not as good as people say she is. And I think WWE's intention with this feud was to hope that she would be received like Velveteen Dream against Shayna, but she's far from that kind of reception. While I don't mind Bianca getting the next title shot, she shouldn't win either. She's not ready to be champion, and both of the ladies in the feud are heels (so it would feel completely lackluster for a heel to dethrone another heel). I think its pretty likely Shayna retains at Phoenix, and then drops the title at Takeover: New York to either Kairi or Io. Shayna will likely move up and debut on RAW the night after Wrestlemania to align herself with Ronda (who will probably turn heel if she loses the title at WM). That being said, I do think that Bianca has a lot of work still to be done in the ring. She's very shallow from a character perspective, her promos are the same exact thing every time, and she's still pretty green in the ring. I have a feeling Shayna's match with Bianca will probably be...not so good from a wrestling perspective since Bianca is god awful at selling. And Shayna isn't exactly great either.

Belair has a lot of potential, and she has some impressive outings for someone with so little experience, but there’s something I just can’t put my finger on that leads me to... not really being all that into the act. I think it’s the same thing that people said about Zack Sabre Jr where things just look too effortless for them (I think this encompasses the selling thing, too).

This will end with Johnny dumping Candice and marrying Tommaso, right...?

Apparently, the post-taping dark match had Aleister Black doing the Worm alongside Otis Dozovic. That needs to be seem.

I think Belair is very talented but getting too strong of a push which is alienating the audience...though maybe that's the point since she's still a heel. That said I don't know what exactly the intention is setting up a heel VS heel match. The crowd will most likely take Shayna's side since she has a certain coolness factor and indie experience going for her.

Sounds like Mauro had a rough night of it Understandable, considering he did just survive a car crash over the holidays, so that might’ve been on his mind.

Sounds like Mauro had a rough night of it I'm not a fan but I do still certainly respect that he takes his work that seriously.
