So we have an important question to answer from this; Whose the Randy Savage that teams with Cena for the return of the Doomsday Cage? R-Truth That makes absolutely no f***ing sense whatsoever. SOLD!

I feel pretty bad for Lars. .........................ok, hear me out. I had/have issues with anxiety, as well as associated issues like depression and shyness. I know exactly what it's like to create a separate internet identity to escape from the perceived inadequacies of the 'real' me. I used to browse message boards and chatrooms all the time as an outlet to express myself and make myself seem bigger and more impressive than what I really am in real life. I was familiar with the bodybuilding.com Misc forums and while I was never a member I lurked the boards and it was full of insecure men (and a few women) who were looking to escape reality by trolling, 'shitposting', sharing random memes, and other fairly immature things as an escape. Many posters there also share pictures of their workout progress for feedback from the community, but also to seek the sort of validation they felt was missing from their offline world. I belive this to be the case for Lars. That said, the psuedo-anonymity of the site also allowed people to freely express their pent up woes and frustrations and gave them the supposed power to say the sort of foul and reprehensible things that Lars felt that he could not say in his everyday life (nor should he ever). I personally think the stuff Lars posted on the BB messageboard reflected how he really felt as I'm sure he was under the assumption of privacy and didn't worry about future consequences. And it's a shame. Racism, misogyny, and victim-blaming has no place in the WWE locker room, nevermind society in 2019. Lars has said and done tons of shitty things but I also hope he gets the help he needs. Fair perspective. I have a hard time feeling for the guy, but I also don't suffer from issues like that which could lead to people using outlets like that to "vent" in such harmful ways. As you say it doesn't excuse the hateful stuff and ignorance he's spewed, but it's still interesting to consider. ... "Young, exciting wrestlers need to learn how to be Doink. Frankly, I think they should just make the entire roster Doink. Bunch of pansies can't handle it and get over anyway? That's their problem. They should make them Doink. I'd stake my employment on it, and on my sobriety." - Shawn Michaels, 1999

A guy with untreated mental health issues lashing out at mental health issues?
Well I am shocked.
(and very much disappointed in some people's reactions here)
There's enough to judge him on, this isn't it.

John Cena: I dunno, Vince. we already printed all these "Cena vs. Sullivan" T-shirts... Vince: Get Kevin on the line! I hope you like wrestling Zodiac and the Yetay, pal! Honestly, I'd love a sincere John Cena vs. Dungeon of Doom in 2019 program. There's nothing else like it on the show, it would free Cena up to do something different, would have some fun promos and make a nice gimmick breather of a match between the more technical marvels we'd expect from Mania. I'm so in but he HAS to touch water in the new dungeon and he HAAAS to say "AHH! IT'S NOT HOT!"

(and very much disappointed in some people's reactions here) There's enough to judge him on, this isn't it. You're absolutely right. In reflecting on it, while there's the face value irony in the contrast of his years-old post and current situation, we may be ultimately dealing with someone suffering from something they can't help, and laughing at one of the symptoms. The post, like all of his, are indefensible, but this particular instance has a bigger picture.
