Looking forward to seeing this, I started watching wrestling in 1992, so a lot of this will be my first memories of the company, though I'm assuming UK could potentially be a different edited version then the USA.

The UK version of the episode from SummerSlam 1992 weekend has been on YouTube, and Vince mentioned Sky Sports throughout the broadcast, as did Sean Mooney in the Event Center. They also referred to SummerSlam as happening "tomorrow," which would mean Superstars aired on Fridays in the UK at that time.

I remember it airing on Friday's now you mention it, and even including stuff from Raw from 1993 (we didn't get the full episodes broadcast of Raw until 95, the week after Nitro debuted)

So, will Superstars be added to the "WWE Superstars" in the In-Ring section(and potentially be moved to the Vault), or will it get it's own section in the Vault?

That's all well and good, but there's only one question that needs answered here...
Where are the rest of Sunday Night Heat and, while we're at it, the Velocity episodes as well?
Damnit I need my fill of Snitsky vs. Val Venis and Paul London vs. Akio matches!

The 4/18/92 episode of Superstars was suppose to be the return of Piper's Pit, and that never happened. I wonder why, and I wonder if that was actually taped?

It was taped and is on the Unreleased dvd The unaired 1992 Piper's Pits that WWE has recently released had Piper interviewing Brooklyn Brawler (from the Apr. 7 taping) and Shawn Michaels (from Apr. 29). The one promoted on TV that never aired was supposed to have Randy Savage as the guest. That segment would have been done at the Superstars taping on Apr. 8, but it seems they just did more segments with Brawler and Michaels.

Shame about 86-92. Who are they exactly in a legal battle with over "Superstars of Wrestling"?

The guy in the YouTube video I posted on the first page is the one who owns the "Superstars of Wrestling" trademark. His Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/wwa.superstars) has a bunch of videos where discusses the matter.

Nice news to hear.
While I don't care for the 1992 ones, the eps from Jan. 1993 (when RAW starts) or Aug. 1993 (when I started watching) would be very interesting.
From trying to watch the Monday Night Wars in the pre-Network days, I noticed that to get the complete scoop on the angles, watching of both RAW and Superstars or Nitro and Saturday Night was essential. Since the other shows are already there (well, at least episodes from those shows), I Look forward to experiencing the full gamut one day.

Never even knew it was what was behind the name change. Shame because 86-93 was the prime years for Superstars before RAW arrived. Im surprised they haven't paid the guy off.

Yeah he namedropped Geraldo Rivera for some reason (forgot why) and then went into the scandal and I could definitely see why that didn't make TV.

Oh, that reminds me. I was at a Superstars taping in June of 1993 in Huntington, WV. The local affiliate was moving Superstars all over the place on their schedule, and I think I only got to see one episode that was taped there. It’ll be a blast to see those (assuming they continue past December 1992). I was at that! I have a lot of pictures from it somewhere. The Savage/Luger dark match from that taping is on the Randy Savage Unreleased DVD set. Awesome! I have some pictures too but I was way up in the cheap seats with a cheap camera so the wrestlers look like ants. I need to check out that Unreleased set. That was the only WWF show I got to go to as a kid. I was so thrilled to see Hulk Hogan in person.

This isn't 100% confirmed, but it looks like we're getting 34 episodes in this drop (starting on Apr. 18, 1992 and ending on Dec. 5, 1992).
