Damn, Finn wins two matches AND pins Cena en route to a shot at the top prize. Talk about a come-up.
Go get that bread, big homie

I'm not the president of the Balor fan club but fans love him and Brock's best matches have been smaller guys lately.

It won't mean much if Brock beats him in 2 weeks.

Not on the main roster, no. He lost in the paint in a cage match with Samoa Joe as he was leaving NXT.

I'm not expecting him to win but if he gets a Bryan or Styles caliber match out of Lesnar I'll be glad.

Totally a dark horse thing, but I will call Balor winning. I'll probably be wrong, but hey, if I am right, score. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

It won't mean much if Brock beats him in 2 weeks. I think this match can be important for Finn in defeat as long as this is them declaring that they're not gonna let Finn twiddle his thumbs anymore and give him a chance to really be somebody. The way they put him over today was pretty messy though. It's annoying in the same way that the women's gauntlet match was annoying, in that they created a scenario that was ridiculous for anyone to think it was fair, but it was treated like it was no big deal. Bayley coming out with a smile on her face as she takes the number one spot in an eight person gauntlet, looked as dumb as Finn coming out with a smile on his face to wrestle Jinder Mahal for a chance to wrestle in a match he was already booked in. If you're gonna stack the deck against a guy, put more emphasis on the hard path he's been given to succeed. By the end of the main event, it didn't really feel like he overcame anything. It felt like he had a match and him winning just happened to be the result of it. There was really no reason for Vince to put his spot up for grabs against Jinder, and then they weren't willing to heel out Vince McMahon for doing it, and hence they couldn't acknowledge the unfair position Finn was in. It all played out feeling pretty ignorant of the actual story they were telling. There wasn't really any drama to it.

This reminded me of his first night on Raw when he won 2 matches, funny enough, a singles then a 4 way, to go onto the match with Roman.

Amazing how over this guy is despite the booking of him the last 2 years. Just goes to show that some stars will always be over no matter what you do with them, and making them the star of the show requires very little effort on the WWE's part. See also; Lynch, Becky.

Yeah but we’re constantly reminded of how small and how much of an underdog he is.
We’re not gonna get Brock intimidated out by The Demon. We’re getting the dated “David vs Goliath” story that’s been done to death.

he's shocked at the news he's been rehired as well. **edit** and he's been released already.
