Fans are fickle, and in the age of constant exposure and need to have something to talk about, it wont be long until you have a cadre of people complaining and it'll grow from there

Anyone they push is always in danger of that backlash. I think Seth is in danger of that now. We're currently experiencing it with Braun. AJ was going through it during his reign as champion. Any face they push will deal with fan backlash no matter who they are. yeah finn is nowhere close to those guys at being Romanized. and also unlike roman there's no sense of "are they finally going to let roman beat brock this time so we don't have to watch them drag it out for another X months because no one else is presented as being able to do so except for him?" with this title shot. almost no one expects finn to be winning here. |
