Good for both guys and good that Impact management are mature enough not to stand in the way of talents when opportunity arises.
I don't mean this in a horrible way, but I am also happy this means we've seen the last of Abyss as a wrestler. He's like Foley in the respect that he's a smart guy who would keep taking stupid bumps because he likes the attention, long after the point a saner person would have stopped, something I doubt the WWE will allow him to, going forward.

How in the HELL is "Abyss leaves Impact/TNA Wrestling" not a thread title on this board right now?
That's a pretty damn huge moment here.

Dutt's departure isn't that much of a shocker, didn't he reject the earlier WWE offer because of some family reasons or something like that?

Pursuit ratings being too low to be monitored is taking a toll

I hope Abyss eats Bray Wyatt live in the center of the ring

Abyss leaving is a sign that they may die soon.
This f***er actually turned down a wwe opportunity so he could remain in a rinky dink company. He defended them despite everything he went through and how they exploited him to destroy his own body.
Even with bounced checks and through cancellations he remained loyal.
This is like the Iraqi minister of information defecting.

I could see Abyss doing at least one feud before going to a backstage role for good.

Well pack it up Impact f***ing Abyss has left the ship raft and all it took was Borash in his ear. Jeremy Borash is the Sith Lord we have been looking for.

A little surprised Borash has a little clout already despite only being there about a year

Can't wait to see Konnan find some way to f*** things up and end up booted from four promotions' creative teams in one day.

Borash must have really been showing his great worth in a quick amount of time to essentially have the clout to get guys hired to help him
It's been said Impact biggest L was losing Borash because he did so much and they got Josh Matthews trying to fit that build

He's a lot more valuable behind the scenes definitely, but I really want Abyss to at least pop up for a quick squash or two in NXT just to say he did.
